They seem to be trying to be a darker more twisted version of TOOL both musically and visually. I really like it.

Unfortunately trying is no longer applicable, ISIS called it a day in june. I'd have given a kidney to be at their final show. They did support tool on one tour as I recall.

shame, so a band i never will get to see. :lol:

always liked Neurosis though (@bartelby) -still have their first l.p. pain of mind on vinyl..desert island disc. :)

I really like Neurosis and their alterego Tribes of Neurot.

Just finished listening to Operation LiveCrime for the seventh time in two days before wondering if I was becoming obsessed. Attempted to vary things slightly by giving Fates Warning's 'No Exit' album a listen. Superb IMO, some of the riffs sound a bit out of sorts when placed together within songs but overall seems to be a pretty great album (some lovely bass as well).
