2.
I gathered he was an Alex, I was more interested in finding out if he's a sensational like me haha!
Yes! I am indeed a sensational Alex Harvey.
 3. Price dropped to £300 after a kind forum member pointed out the current new price for these.
 4. Thank for the heads-up Sharkfinger. My Bergantino left today. This and my Orange Terror Bass still up for grabs.
 5. Rich bought a Bergantino HS410 from me today at a McDonalds on the A1. A lovely chap to meet and chat with, he even bought me a coffee! The next coffee's on me! Many thanks, Alex
 6. To the top. Orange Terror Bass also for sale.
 7. Definitely have the box for this. Also put my Mesa Boogie Bass 400+ up for sale.
 8. SOLD Part 3 of my current selling odyssey. For sale is my Mesa Boogie Bass 400+ valve amp. I bought this amp second hand from Mansons in Exeter in 2010 and have played it through a Bergantino HS410 for the larger gigs I’ve played over the years. This probably amounts to somewhere between 6 and 10 gigs a year, so between 30 - 50 gigs in total during the five years I’ve had it. Functionally it’s in excellent working order. It was serviced by Mansons when I bought it and since then it’s worked perfectly. The tubes are twelve Groove Tubes GT6L6Rs and four Groove Tubes GT12AX7Rs. Cosmetically you’ll see that this is not in immaculate condition but neither has it been abused. The amp simply shows the usual signs of a working life. I believe one of the power/standby switches has been changed at some point in the past. This is documented below in the photos for you to see. It comes in the 4U rack mount case pictured As with the Orange Terror Bass I'm selling this is currently located in West Sussex (RH14 area) at my folks however I can also bring it to North London (Stoke Newington area - N16) midweek. Happy to arrange trial/collection at either location with a bit of notice (although you’ll need to bring your own cab!). I'm also back and forth between North London and West Sussex so could potentially deliver if you're not too far off the beaten track. It's been a while since I last sold anything on Bass Chat but for what it's worth I have feedback here: http://basschat.co.u...6921-harvey1-8/ In terms of trades I'm not really looking for anything right now but would consider a Mesa Walkabout head. Any questions PM me. Many thanks, Alex
 9. Thanks for the comments, chaps. It is indeed a stunning bit of kit. Just listed my Orange Terror Bass as well.
 10. WITHDRAWN For sale is my Orange Terror Bass (500 watt version) which I had have for a few years now as a backup to my Mesa 400+ and is now surplus to requirement. It's stock standard, has the soft case, kettle lead and I think I still have the box for it somewhere. These are great little amps, Orange tone, loads of power and super light. I've gigged it a handful of times over the past couple of years and it's performed flawlessly. With the exception of one small rub park on the bottom (pictured below) it's immaculate. As with the Bergantino cabinet I'm selling this is currently located in West Sussex (RH14 area) at my folks however I can also bring it to North London (Stoke Newington area - N16) midweek. Happy to arrange trial/collection at either location with a bit of notice. I'm also back and forth between North London and West Sussex so could potentially deliver if you're not too far off the beaten track. If you're in London, I work in Camden and could meet central in the evenings if convenient. Postage could be an option too. It's been a while since I last sold anything on Bass Chat but for what it's worth I have feedback here: http://basschat.co.u...6921-harvey1-8/ In terms of trades I'm not really looking for anything right now but would consider a Mesa Walkabout head. 11. Location: West Sussex and/or London *Currently sold pending* The time has come to part with my Bergantino HS410. I bought this new from Bass Direct in April 2010 and it's been an absolute joy to own and play. I love playing through a 410 cabinet and it's been perfect for all of the marquees and larger rooms I've played in over the past few years. The cab is in excellent condition. It's been kept in its padded cover and in the house when not in use. The castors show signs of standard use but beyond that it's pretty much immaculate. It's never been pushed hard during gigs and has taken everything in its stride. I run it either with a Mesa Boogie 400+ or an Orange Terror Bass (both of which will be for sale shortly) and it's been great with both amps. It really lets the amps breath more than any other cab I've used. I'm selling for two reasons. Firstly I'm simply not playing enough larger gigs at the moment to warrant something of this size. Secondly, I'm looking to buy my first house in London and you don't get a lot of space for your money, so I need to sell a few bits over the coming weeks. The cab is currently located in West Sussex (RH14 area) at my folks however I can also bring it to North London (Stoke Newington area - N16) midweek. Happy to arrange trial/collection at either location with a bit of notice. I'm also back and forth between North London and West Sussex so could potentially deliver if you're not too far off the beaten track. Due to the size and weight the cab is for collection only. If you’re genuinely interested but live a fair distance away, drop me a PM and I’ll see if I can meet you half way. It's been a while since I last sold anything on Bass Chat but for what it's worth I have feedback here: http://basschat.co.u...6921-harvey1-8/ In terms of trades I'm not really looking for anything right now but would consider a Mesa Walkabout head as a backup to the one I already have. I'll take some proper photos of the cab at the weekend but the above gives you an idea. Any questions PM me. Many thanks, Alex
 12. *EDIT - Price updated to reflect that advertised elsewhere - Now £700* I bought this on a whim back in 2011 from Badlands Guitars in Brighton. Since then I’ve used it sparingly at home and it has been gigged on rare occasions, only once or twice a year. Last summer I had it serviced at Andertons in Guildford and it’s been played for between 5 and 10 hours since. The Angel series was produced in the 90's and is now discontinued, the popularity of these amps is still vast and they rarely crop up, or so I'm told. Although this amp is now discontinued Mesa still maintains a page for it on the site here http://www.mesaboogi...blue-angel.html but the following lists the key features:

Progressive Linkage™ power section allows you to switch between or combine 2x6V6 & 4xEL84 for 15, 33, or 38 Watts, of Pure Class A Power / 5x12AX7, 1x5AR4
Single Channel
Two Inputs (1=Normal, 2=Low)
Bright/Fat Switch
Spring Reverb
Parallel FX Loop w/Mix Level Control
Slave Out w/Level Control
Fan Cooled
The design allows for a very versatile amp which is perfect for many situation. You can run it quiet(ish) or loud via the valve switching options and low/high inputs. This also means you can get the overdriven tone with the volume driving the valves hard, without rattling the windows to much. Unfortunately I don’t have the on/off footswitch for the reverb, nor do I have covers for either the head or cab. It does come with the power cord and speaker cable. The amp is currently located in West Sussex (RH14 area) however I can also bring it to North London (Stoke Newington area - N16) midweek. Happy to arrange trial/collection at either location with a bit of notice. I'm also back and forth between North London and West Sussex so could potentially deliver if you're not too far off the beaten track. Due to the size and weight the amp is for collection only. If you’re genuinely interested but live a fair distance away, drop me an email and I’ll see if I can meet you half way. It's been a while since I last sold anything on Bass Chat but for what it's worth I have feedback here: http://basschat.co.u...6921-harvey1-8/ In terms of trades I'm only really interested in Mesa Walkabout Head at the moment. I'm not too sure if this will get much interest on here but I'll give it a week or two on here before listing it on a popular auction website.
