I'm no Hadrien Feraud, but neither of the songs you suggest seems particularly complex to me - there are thousand upon thousands of songs that have far more tricky bass parts than these. Also, i[/color][/font][color=#282828]f (as you say) you are are doing a solo piece, why not choose a proper solo bass piece, i.e. one that does not require a backing track? Is it purely complexity, and if so, who decides how "complex" a part of a piece of music is? Number of notes? How far apart those notes are? Speed? Accuracy? Timing? Some very basic bass lines are very difficult to get right. Some seemingly complex ones are far easier than they sound...
