I've had my mitts on most of the classic range of rock n roll basses - I'm not meaning some of the high high end stuff I could never afford - but 'Rays, Fender jazz and P's, Ibanez, Yamaha, Gibsons, and so on, and I think Sandberg and Lakland beat them all hands down for sheer class, comfort and construction.
