They are London based though Wooks so might be a bit far. But if you just want some new stuff to listen to have you checked out Acid King? Listening to Undersmile a lot lately. More sludge/doom than stoner but they still have a nice desert vibe going on in places. Edit: Block Moth are Fookin savage! I generally just go to Heavy Planet to find new bands. Over Christmas I got seriously into a US band called Elder. Stoner with old school prog/psychedelic tendencies. It is a Thor that he bought from a chap in Brighton that apparently came from a bunch that were discovered in an industrial unit in Milton Keynes a while ago.
