3. PM
Upgraded a number of my studio microphones a while back to some high-end alternatives (in this case Josephson C42's)...and I've been holding on to these as I still like them - but I've got to stop hoarding stuff - so this is the first set of microphones I'm going to put up for sale... SE Electronics SE3 - matched pair In as new/mint condition - only ever used in nice home studio environment. Always stored carefully in the case when not used. These were the top-of-the-range SDC from SE Electronics & come complete with shock-mounts, stereo bar, nice flight case & matched pair test certificate. More info here Ideal pair of small condenser mics for drum over heads, pianos, acoustics guitar...etc... Also got great results using them on a jazz kit for snare drum/hi-hats. 4.
Evening all, bought this a couple of months ago(300watt,8 ohm) and had an issue in that the tweeter got cracked in transit..the rest of the cab is in perfect condition and the tweeter is variable so you could just use it ( I think) as if it were a GS112 NT. I was looking to get sorted but due to issues at home and some serious bills haven't been able to do so,and it seems to be going to waste so I am looking to move on at a good price, I've spoken with the Bass Cellar and they've said it's around £70 for a replacement. £180 including postage, will be packed very securely...I got plenty of bubblewrap! Could be interested in trades with regards to fx pedals - Micro Synth, Chorus etc Thanks Dave
Hi Dave, Are you saying the tweeter doesn't work as well as being cracked... also where abouts are you??? Dave (also)
 5.
I bought a Jazz TUSQ and it was perfect so I tend to agree that you got, or were sent, the wrong nut.
Actually I also bought a tusq Jazz nut and found the string spacing too wide. Ended up buying a blank nut and cutting it myself...
 6. Hi, just wondered which one it is. There are several depending on the Machine head type you have on your bass already. There should be a model number, BT1, BT2, BT3 etc etc.... Cheers Clem
got this attacthed to my recent 'wick purchase, but as i'll NEVER need to use it on the bass its pointless keepoing it! Its black in excellent condition, comes with mounting screw £40 posted
8. Try geoffbassist, he is on the forum and a great player and teacher if he has space. Based in Manchester.
My son aged 15 has been playing guitar for a number of years and bass for about year. Would love to be able to help him and find someone who can show in the techniques especially with a Rock interest. Music is his real passion and has takes it really seriously. Live in Urmston area of Manchester and ideally would like someone willing to come to us, or live reltively local to m41. Or can anyone recommend someone I can approach.
9. I have a classic 5 I may be convinced to part with, or is it definately a 4 you're after?
Hi there. I am looking for a Tobias(growler, basic or classic) or MTD bass 4 string build in USA. Anybody who can help me?
10. Yes another satisfied user here. Can't believe the quality/reliability for the money. Nothing else better in (or somewhat above) the pricerange....
 11. All time classic, full of greatness...Would love to see a 'Classic Albums' done on this album. It is still used by many engineers and producers as a reference when working in a new studio, even stranger when you consider it was one of the first all digital recordings with inferior sample rates etc compared with todays! Proves the content is still more the most important ingredient to making a great music/recordings...
 12. I reckon with a bit more distortion he could cover up his bodged attempt at tapping!
okay, he doesnt qualify as a bassist. horrible.
13.
Sorry but there's already a thread on this and its up to 4 pages! 14. Great new series on the beeb BUT bassists don't get their own show......we have to share it with.......keyboard players!!!! DISCUSS!!!!!! (and disgust)

But you're in the Extreme North / Boreders (....not much to do up there) John. This was more NY ..... and nice to meet-up with another BC'er in person...
Tis I ..Le Clem...Very nice bass too and will make good use of it. 17. Or for those who can't wait it's only a fiver inc P&P from here http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/book/97807...d-Other-Animals Great book, my drummer has my copy at the moment. Will offer it up for the library when he's done, although obviously it may take a while as he's only just got past 'Janet and John have fun with a hamster'...
 18. Greetings
 19. And welcome into the light!
 20. Hi Lee Definately interested. I tried another Warwick model a while ago but didn't feel right to me so would like to try this model to see. Love the sound of Warwicks though, heard this model on Youtube and liked it. It's just how it feels. I am gigging in Harrogate that day if you are passing by, not sure where yet will let you know if it works out for you (time, location etc). Cheers Dave
Hi, I can measure that for you when I get home. I'm not in North Yorkshire. I live in South Shields, but am travelling back from Exeter to Newcastle on Friday 14th May. I could call in to see you if you were definately interested? Cheers, Lee
21. Hi there Can you tell me the width of neck at the nut. Looks like it's 38mm like a jazz bass. Also where abouts are you in North Yorkshire as I'm in York and would like to try it out. Cheers
