Great quality full range studio monitor system in great condition. Two Event Alp 5 active nearfield speakers and a Fostex PM 0.5 Mk II active sub. I've achieved great mixes on this sytem that has translated well but have now upgraded as I have moved to a larger control room. One slight issue, one of the Event speakers has a slight hum/buzz when using the unbalanced input, but dissapears when using the balanced XLR input, which to be honest you should be using in a pro setup anyway. Check the review for the Alp5's http://www.soundonso...s/eventalp5.htm Pickup from York would be preferred as the Sub this is relatively heavy, but will post as long as you cover cost... New together these were £550 (Alp 5's £299 Sub £250) so I think a great price would be £225 excluding P&P Payment by BACS Both have had light home studio use and other than the unbalanced input issue are in great condition. These are stock pictures by the way

Need to raise money for some new studio monitors so time to sell a few bits and pieces [s]Japanese Fender Squier neck...£120...Great neck from 1994, decent condition, perfectly straight. Previous owner decided to remove the Squier logo, presumably to replace it with a Fender one. Two small chips out of the nut but doesn't affect the strings at all. Has had a recent fret dress and a light wirewooling with 0000 grade wool to give the back of the neck a satin feel.....[/s] No longer available [s]Badass II bass bridge...£55... Good condition, really improves the tone and sustain.[/s] Sold ... Seymore Duncan Bass Lines STK-J2B bass pickup...£35... bridge position, good condition, as used by Duff McKagan a.o. (Have the screws but not the rubber bits Seymore Duncan Bass Lines SJB-1N bass pickup £30...neck position, good condition. Have all the screws and rubber bits.

I have a great quality Japanese Squier Precision neck from about 93/94. It came attached to a Squier Jazz body and want to change it over to a Jazz neck, prefer the narrower feel. As you all know Japanese Fenders and Squiers from this time were great quality and simply want to exchange it for a Jazz neck of the same quality. There are a few marks on it (nothing problematic) and the Squier decal has been scrubbed off, assume the previous owner wanted to put a Fender one on, don't know why as the Japanese Squiers were as good. The neck has a satin feel as I have wirewooled it with very fine grade wool and feels great. Also nice and straight. Let me know if anyone is interested in a trade Many thanks Clem
Remove most of his drums and go back to basics. Snare, hi-hat, bass drum and couple of cymbals - its all you need to lay a groove. I think a click will only train him/her to play with a click. Also get him/her off the drums and just do some clapping to slow stuff. Really helps to develop a sense of timing.
+1 to this, hide the toms for now!
