1. This looks just like the one I sold to Witterth on here. A very clean example, as was mine. Only sold because I also had the earlier Mark IV version, which is still going strong today. Superb amps these.
2. So, who owns the bass...is it tournesol or Isabass..?? :-) Or have I missed something..?
3. ...and is shipping included in the price?
4. Ahhh man..he who hesitates is lost! :-( Mulled this over and over, not far from me either. Sounds like somebody made the decision for me :-) Congrats on the sale mate anyway ;-)
5. Like the one you had eh Et ;-) No matter how many I've had of these, I always want another lol, so thinking about this...! A nice backup for my BB2000...Must resist!! :-)
6. Yep, it's an 1100s and fine example by the looks of it. I had a slightly later one of these. Fantastic bass, switchable between active and passive, very versatile. Whoever buys will be well happy ;-)
7. Wow mate, I'm guessing that's the natural one that was on sale alongside the Warwick Rockbass recently on here? Bargainous!! :-)
8. ...and I just missed out on that metallic red beauty of yours Mark! Even when you've had them, these Yams are hard to leave alone, eh, especially at this price!! ;-)
9. Fantastic! I'd have one of these over the newer ones any day! A very decent price too. I paid around the same for my BB2000 and it's worth every penny! I'd say GLWTS but I don't think you'll need it. Nice to see this on here :-)
10. I know the feeling mate and I only have three! :-)
11. Indeed and it was actually your 1500a that I bought, Funkle. :-)
12. Had one of these for a while. Sounded amazing, really hi-fi, like a much more expensive bass. Pretty certain mine was made in Taiwan. The usual Yamaha quality, you can't go wrong. Only got rid because I wanted a more passive sound, but I do wish I'd kept it. Fabulous bass. If I had the spare cash, I'd have this no bother.
13. Just bought Dave's Squier Deluxe Jazz. A total gent, couldn't fault the transaction at all, from excellent communication to the excellent safe packaging of the instrument. Well happy! :-)
14. This is truly beautiful. Reminds me of Geddy's Roll The Bones era Wal. Bass of a lifetime! All the best with the saleKev, someone will be well happy! :-)
15. This is truly gorgeous and just across the Mersey from me. Zero funds however, but have a bump sir ;-)
16. And you certainly would drool, ras ;-) It belonged once to BCer "Mojo" -he had an unlined ebony board put on it, it's lovely! My BB2000 is the one though, irreplaceable ;-) and I'm guessing the sound from Brian's 1024 here isn't a million miles away from it. So, another bump for a great bass. Come and get it people!
17. Well, I've never played a bad Yamaha, I can say that much and I have owned several BB'S. Not tried this model but I am certain it is the absolute nuts ;-)

19. Hello Bri! Sorry to see you're having to sell this on and bad news about your accident mate :-( Anyone considering buying this, Brian is a top bloke, buy with confidence ;-) And thus, bump!
20. Headway EDB-1 for sale, complete with box, instruction manual and PSU. Hardly used and in fantastic condition, pretty spotless, but for a very slight scuff on the left side of the unit (tried to show this in the pics, see below) Here's some blurb about the unit for anyone unfamiliar with it... With the compact Headway EDB-1 (Sheer Acoustic Equaliser Direct Blend) mega multi-purpose external pre-amplifier box you can completely shape your sound with a 5-band interactive EQ, switchable input impedance, and 3-way range switch. The preamp's controls offer acoustic guitar, bass, or violin settings—which cut unwanted low end tones below the useable frequency range of the instrument. This cuts body-handling noise, unwanted resonances, feedback, and violin bowing noise. Feedback and other resonance problems may be further tackled by a very effective, broad-ranging tunable notch filter and a phase reverse control. The Headway EDB-1 preamp's inputs provide plenty of options for any amplification you use. Whether using a 1/4" jack, balanced stereo 1/4" jack, or XLR jack for a microphone, the EDB-1 has got you covered. Headway EDB-1 inputs include mono jack, stereo jack and XLR, through 2 channels. The inputs enable you to blend in an extra pickup, or microphone. You can plug into them with 1 or 2 standard mono jack leads, a jack lead plus an XLR, or a stereo jack lead. An unbalanced 1/4" jack would be related to the Channel 1 input. A balanced 1/4" jack relates to the stereo input (using channels 1 and 2), for an instrument using an internal mic and pickup, being blended internally. Channel 2 mic is an XLR input allowing you to use a microphone onstage, if your instrument does not have a pickup. Each channel's input impedance switches allow you to optimize the voicing for any of the major pickup types, while a huge amount of extra levels can be applied via the gain controls and master volume. Phantom power is also available to jack in and XLR inputs, making the unit friendly for use with quality condenser mics and Instruments wired with no battery inside instrument, but with active pickups needing powering. The outputs use a balanced XLR out and a line out jack. If an earth loop is heard causing hum, you may kill it by pressing the earth lift switch. The two outputs also allow you to split the signal, such as between an acoustic combo amp for stage monitoring and an out front mixing desk. The Headway EDB-1 preamp can be mounted on its rubber feet, carried with you on a belt clip. Powering is via two 9v PP3 ( 6F22 ) batteries, or via plug-in DC Power supply. £70 Delivered. Any questions, let me know and cheers for looking
21. Heavens above!!!!! If this hasn't gone, I'll eat my hat. (still loving that 5 string Yammy fretless you sold to me mate ;-)) I don't need this but very much want it. You know how it is BCers ;-)
22. That BB2000 I've got is my dream bass. Wanted one for ages and finally got one a couple of years back. 30 years old so plenty of dings but sounds fantastic and is certainly the best bass I've had. I suppose if it had been pristine, I'd probably feel as protective as you do. But once you get a little wear you start to worry less and enjoy an instrument more I think. The first cut is the deepest and all that.. It's bizarre to me that you can pay a premium amount for Fender Custom Shop instruments that have been somewhat artificially aged and "roadworn," but hey ho. So if you do end up keeping it, enjoy and keep it away from that clumsy guy in the band :-)
