    Brand new (in box) Harley Benton Deko ukulele bass. Traveller-sized, spruce top, mahogany body, carved back, mahogany neck, C-shape, rosewood fingerboard, DOT-inlays, 20 frets, scale 534 mm, nut width 42,0 mm, rosewood bridge, black open gear tuners, Fishman Kula pickup system with built-in tuner, Aquila strings, finish: natural satin As with all Dekos, this one has a small defect in that two of the tuners seem to slip. This may be easily fixable by someone mechanically-minded who knows how to take the open-backed tuners apart and put them back together. Fortunately with the rubber strings there are ways around this. With that in mind, it's probably better for someone who wants a fun instrument to noodle at home vs gigging.     90s Japanese Yamahas are superb. My TRB6 was my first bass and the build quality is incredible.

    Static noise coming from my Shuttle 9.0, whether an instrument is plugged in or not. Have tried re-seating and replacing the valve and nothing's changed. Does anyone have any other ideas, or have a recommendation for a good amp tech (or authorised service centre) in London area who deals with Genz/SS/Class D? I have six Mono bags (bass double, electric double, bass Vertigo, two electric Vertigos and a dreadnought M80), and while they're not cheap they are worth every single penny. Fantastic gigbags.

    Thanks for the reply. I'm very intrigued. Does it come up quite close to the strings, effectively making a sort of ramp? Is there room to slap and pop?
