  1. was very excited to see a super cool instrument but then read jacob collier and almost defenestrated myself
  2. just use a mix of both, rake when going down a string, and alternate when playing more than one on the same????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
  3. literally just play the bassline so much that it becomes completely muscle memory, playing it whilst watching a television show or something like that and with the vocal you can try to remember what syllables or section of words land on certain parts of the bassline, and go from there helps me a lot to break it down like that

  9. they charged me £40 shipping on a pack of strings once and I thought £15 was already outlandish.... bloody hell.

  16. i absolutely love ian martin allison's labella though it's a bit debatable whether you'd call them flat or round, they feel like flats but tone is a bit more grindy, great guy and player ian is though so have used them for some years now
