  1. Very nice indeed! GLWTS.
  2. Phew…..!
  3. Hmmm........makes sense.......but I already have a few amps....which means the wife probably wouldn’t notice another one! What do they say....the best place to hide a tree is in a forest!!! 😁
  4. Interesting spacing between the Jazz pup and bridge......
  5. Only 19 left in stock!!!
  6. The Bugera remains an incredible bargain........and I still can’t believe I haven’t ordered one yet!
  7. Very true!
  8. It seems to be a fairly common theme these days. For about 5 years or so the Markbass Blackline 250 head was £220 or so, a few months ago it went to £319 ish.
  9. Very true! I’m not sure how much they would have left to share at this crazy price! 😃
  10. All those valves.......delightful!
  11. Very tempted to grab one of these at this price! Do you have any thoughts please on their claim of “High-voltage MOSFET preamplifier provides the sound and feel of an authentic tube amp”? Can you get a nice vintage / warm sound from the MOSFET version?
  12. Lovely! Totally agree, a P with flats sounds and feels great. I top loaded the tape wounds to be on the safe side and to be honest, I’m sure my ears wouldn’t notice the difference of top load v through body anyway!
  13. Thank you. I had a Player series in Polar White and I agree, it is very white! Personal opinion, but I think it is well worth trying some flats on your P at some stage. I don’t have rounds on any of my basses! I can’t weigh the bass at the moment but will do next week. I would say it’s an average weight!
  14. So I eventually found the time today to change the strings to a set of La Bellas.......but not the LFTs! I decided that as I already had a Jazz strung with LFTs I would try something different. It is now wearing a set of 750N black nylon tape wounds and I’m very happy with my choice. Super smooth under the fingers, low tension and none of that harsh plastic ‘clack’ on the fingerboard I remember from other brands. The sound is brighter than I expected but I don’t mind that at all.
  15. Flippin’ ‘eck.......I thought might be an actual book! Fortunately, I realised he was holding a perfectly usable and un-abused guitar, so knew it was a great bit of creative photoshopping!
  16. Lovely high spec, well made bass.
  17. Seems a great price for a great bass! Sadly, I don’t need another one!
  18. My brother has a CS Strat with similar crazing...it looks even better ‘in the flesh’!
