  1. ….and the vintage Jazz! A fine selection!
  2. I had the pleasure of selling Chris my Minimark combo. Top communications through and instant payment (he actually overpaid and wouldn’t accept a refund!) A true gent, thank you Chris!
  3. Bargain economy shipping though at £55.95...! 🤦‍♂️
  4. Thanks for sharing - I have never seen one of these. La Bella Black Nylons are fantastic, both tone and feel!
  5. I like the look of the £888 P nut...
  6. I like that! Joel is a great guy to deal with too!
  7. Are these still for sale?
  8. Oddly enough, in the pictures above, it is sitting on top of a Fender Rumble 2x8! 😁
  9. Around 3.9kgs or just over 8 1/2 lbs, according to the bathroom scales with just me, then me plus bass! I also tried it on some kitchen scales too. Hope that helps.
  10. When I had the pleasure of owning this bass, the combination of a set of La Bella LTFs, a low action and the 9.5 inch radius really made for a wonderfully smooth and easy playing bass. Oh, it sounded and felt great too! If I hadn’t recently found love in Precisions, this would still be mine.
  11. Bought a Rumble cab from Mark and couldn’t be happier with the cab and transaction. Great communications, the best packaging I have ever seen and delivered the next day! Very highly recommended!
  12. This takes me back to 1978 when I bought a second hand Traynor cab with a single 15inch speaker! Lovely thing!
  13. Thank you @itsmedunc. I’m afraid I’m very old school and have enough difficulty remembering which end of a cable to connect to the bass then amp, then amp to cab, then mains to amp......and then remembering what to turn on to make a noise! Sorry @DavyI have therefore never even considered using this as a preamp direct into a mixer desk, so wouldn’t know.
  14. Yes, I found them much brighter than other flats or tapewounds. I have a set on a different Precision!
  15. I was delighted when Joel got in touch to buy a set of La Bellas from me, as I knew it would be another hassle free and enjoyable transaction! Thanks again Joel!
  16. Not a problem for me, they are 105 - 50, which is why I was even more attracted to the La Bellas. Other brands I used in the past were 115s which sometimes meant a bit of nut work. The 105 - 50s were a simple fit, I just needed a tiny bit of pressure to seat the 50 in the nut.
  17. I have a set of La Bella Black Nylons on my fretted Precision and absolutely love them! Easy on the fingers, no finger noise and a really delightful warm sound.
  18. This used to be mine, it is a great bass….
  19. Thank you for the suggestion, I will add some details later.
