  1. Huge book! It is probably 15 years or so old but remains in good overall condition. Price includes courier to England and Wales, please contact me for potential extra postage costs for other areas.
  2. Am I the only person thinking this thread appears to be going off at a tangent? 😀
  3. Bought a nice book from Marc. He packed it really well and sent it the same day I paid for it - perfect! A straightforward transaction.
  4. That’s a quality bass at a bargain price.....
  5. What a great idea that could be! Imagine having a selection to chose from.... Select Body - Ash, Alder etc Select Shape - Jazz, P or PJ etc Select Colour - ..... Select Pickguard - ......... Select Neck - Maple or Roasted Maple etc Select Fingerboard - Rosewood, Maple etc Select Radius - 7.25, 9.5, 12, compound etc Etc etc.... It all comes in a box for you to put together! You end up building your own custom bass.....to your own specifications....😁😁😁
  6. Agreed! Easily rectified though!
  7. We now know for sure that ashtrays are included then! 😀
  8. Wow! That is very nice, what a great pair of Precisions. What are your initial thoughts on the 54 and how was the set up and finish on arrival?
  9. Lovely bass. I’m sure it will sell in no time…
  10. Yep.....but which colour..... I like the look of the 54 P as well....
  11. Because it will sound different.......on account of the new strings you will have to buy.....to make it sound different!!! 😁
  12. Agree on both points! I have four Fender Basses and there are eight covers sitting in four cases!!!
  13. I agree and would expect the covers to be included. Certainly that was the case with my 2021 Jazz. Not that I have fitted them anyway!
  14. GAS doesn’t work like that! You have to get another bass because it might be easier to play!!! 😀
  15. Nice. @Minininjarob here is your +1 formula!!! 😁
  16. You beat me to it! Very lovely indeed.....that neck is stunning. Thank you for sharing.
  17. Also a fair point! I sense they seem to (and probably quite rightly) work on what tend to be iconic basses of their time. So Pre-CBS is a great target, especially as basses of this era are out of most of our financial reaches. I think the ‘newest’ vintage reissue has been a 1975 Jazz but my memory could well have got that wrong!
  18. Oh my…. What a brilliant combination - Fender and Shuker! Does that make it a Fenker or a Shuder? 😀
