  1. My 2015 American Vintage Reissue - one of my favourite basses. The white blonde has a few nicks and some lacquer checking, whilst the back of the neck is now almost gloss free! It is my lightest Fender at just 8lbs and 3ozs. Set up with a set of La Bella gold white flats.
  2. What incredible craftsmanship. Beauty.
  3. That is a fine looking bass! Does it have a Jazz neck, with a 38mm nut?
  4. Taken off a Precision with plenty of life still left in them. Price includes UK postage.
  5. Flea signature set. Cut for 4 in a line. Lightly used and still very bright. Came to me on a Jazz Bass but I prefer flats. Price includes postage to UK.
  6. This new speaker was sent direct from SWR to a very popular ‘80s British band whilst they were on tour in the USA in July 2000. The ‘invoice’ states ‘accommodation for artist on tour with blown driver’ and was sent free of charge to the bassist. It certainly looks unused and I have managed a little test with my Minimark and all seems okay, albeit at house volumes! The invoice description states ‘Speaker 10” 36oz PAS GOL III SR, JR, TRIAD, REDHEAD’. It is no lightweight and looks to be a very well made unit. Shipping can be arranged but collection in person is welcomed.
  7. It is also a very comfortable weight for an Ash bodied and fully loaded PJ.......tempting.
  8. Another great Shuker....no surprise in that statement!! GLWTS.
  9. I don’t need them to play through but would like them as a piece of art! Mrs MungoBass would obviously be unamused!
  10. I have the same set in a PJ.....they are fantastic!
  11. Wishing you all a great ‘bash’ on Sunday - I have no doubt it will be brilliant! I would have loved to be there but I have Gramps duties for the weekend! Hopefully meet you at the next one. David
  12. I wish I had a trip ‘up North’ planned!
  13. Update. The bass is now wearing a set of La Bella LTFs and plays and sounds great. I found a oldish Custom Shop 60s tort guard with mint green layers which fits nicely and is lighter in colouring than the original - that is staying on! In the OP I mentioned a slab board, but have to fess up that was incorrect! It is however a decent thickness of curved rosewood! Eye test booked!
