  2. PM'd Been really busy so apologies for the late reply bump
  3. Bump for this lovely cab - gigged and jammed with it this week and it just delivers night after night! At this rate I may just gonna hang on to it - doesnt take up much room and a great cab for the smaller gigs.
  4. I've PM'd too - my guitarist buddy is really in need of a board and this would be perfect!

Trade offers welcome on the Pod (although I've been pretty busy using it on recordings etc) - I'd be up for an Aguilar Octamiser plus some cash!
  6. Ideally after a cash sale but I wouldn't rule out a trade - nothing specific in mind but I'm good for pedals. Bass or amp suggestions welcome as the worst I can say is no!
  7. Really would appreciate an answer as cash waiting and other boards are appearing for sales. Cheers
  8. PM'd re trade offer but sorry not what I'm after thanks.
  9. Hey PM sent and is the power lead one of these bad boys? http://www.diago.co.uk/pedal-power/diago-powerstation.html Thanks

    Hao has now been traded!
  11. Picked up a Dr Bass cab recently a 2x12 plus a 6.5 inch mid driver. Loving it and it's nice having the extra on stage ooph over my 112.
  12. I'm usually playing between 4-8 gigs a month (£60/£70 per gig) and its really handy income on top of the day job. As I work compressed hrs in my regular job (4 days/37.5hrs) its pretty much an ideal set up for now until I notice nxt month I'm working 12 hr shifts fri/sat and early on the sunday and have gigs on the fri starting at 1am, late gig the sat and 7.30 start the Sunday. Normally it's not so cluttered but a small price to pay for playing music I like to appreciative crowds of 300+ folks each night. Living the dream? Well it's certainly not a nightmare
  13. Luke I was gonna buy that cab but you beat me to it
  14. A few yrs back Guitar Guitar had a huge blowout on Tecamp most of which I think ended up in the hands of forum users. It's nice gear and I wouldn't have minded a go on the bad bull heads. Ironically at the time of the blow out I had a power amp in for repair which I bought from guitar guitar and they eventually gave me a refund days after the heads and combo's had pretty much sold out
  15. I've just passed my test within this last year and bought a little Audi A2. I get my 212cab, head and pedal train mini (which sit in the scooped out foot wells behind the driver and front passenger seat. I've the rear seats out and it's like a wee minivan. Along with my bass I normally take the drummer and all his gear which is one of those big stand bags and his entire kit. There's room for more but that's all I need to lug about for gigs. I've always really liked the Audi A2, reminds me of a baby hippopotamus in side profile, and it suits my needs perfectly! I just dig those German motors!
  16. I just realise I didn't put in any feedback from a previous transaction and having just bought a bridge off Pete can I say I was really happy with the first transaction and even happier to see it was Pete selling the bridge as I knew it would again be a hassle free and smooth deal. Bridge went on in abt 20 minutes, is a great design and probably the easiest one I've ever set up and intonated and was, naturally from Pete, in great condition. Top bloke who always has tasty gear kicking about. Cheers Pete!
  17. Having A/B'd the weight against my housemates dumbbell its approx 25kg but to be fair the dumbbell's tone sucked ass and has no low end whatsoever! The cab is an easy one handed lift due to the handle being placed on the side of the cab, it's even easier in a two armed bear hug!
  18. My other cab is sold so this is staying home. Thanks for all the interest
  19. I'm usually not pushing the head more than 1 o'clock on the output volume and there is certainly more volume on tap if I push it further. Once I switch on the compressor and the MXR I have more volume there too should I need it but I try and keep everything at sensible levels i.e. all pedal volumes about noon I'm not really GAS'ing and new stuff is nice but it's not gonna sound radically different from what I have - I'm just more concerned about the head exploding mid set - at least I have the MXR and PA should that happen
  20. Luke Next time you rehearse in a practice room try putting your amp against the opposite wall or just stand facing it from the other side of the room if space permits. Those few feet away might give you a chance to hear yourself more clearly as might being able to angle the bass cab a little. We often used to have all the amps set up like monitors in our old practice space as if they were the crowd pointing towards us. Certainly sounded better for us at the time but that was maybe as much to do with the room (which we rented and had all our own kit permanently set up in)

  23. Lovely stuff! Tom is a delight to work with. I honestly think everyone on TB who is into effects should take the plunge and have Tom build you that pedal you keep searching and trading for. I don't think I've seen anyone complain about either the customer service or more importantly the quality of the tones! For much less than the big name boutique builders he can deliver exactly what you want in a custom finish and thats a pretty strong selling point IMO. Looking forward to the review hamfist! Maybe we should start a review thread in the reviews forum with audio/video? C'mon Shep you already have about 5 of his pedals get the ball rollin'
