Bumping this with price drop to 140 pounds!
  2. Cog Effects are brilliant and any of you pedal heads should have one. It's as simple as that! I'm considering having the Tarkin worked into a custom build Tom @Cog did for me. GLWTS
  3. For your consideration and FOR SALE only please The short-lived collaboration produced by Markbass in Italy for Musicman is essentially a Markbass TA503 only the HD500 looks way better . It's a punchy amp that is becoming a bit of a rarity. I've read people comparing it to a beefed-up old school Bassman-type sound with more headroom, which it pretty accurate but certainly not the limit of it's tonal flexibility. There is a 12au7 valve in the front end to warm the sound up and give that little bit of grit which sounds great when diggin' in especially with a pick! I've tried 12AX7's but the pre is designed for the AU7 and the drive sounds more musical with it. This price will include next day shipping in the UK. The head features speakons, effect loop, ground lift etc and the usual round the back. On the front panel: -DI level control with pre/post switch, -mute function -built in limiter with selectable release time, -twin channels with 4 band eq which when centred are: Bass 100Hz, Lo-Mid 400Hz, High-Mid 1.25KHz, High 12.5KHz (I think!) -VLF control to emulate vintage cabs with on off switch The EQ is straight forward and has many really useable tones and the bonus of twin channels means you can simply flip a switch to mix it up on the fly when gigging. These are seriously versatile heads and with the twin eq can be set up for two different instruments or different tones for different songs (how I use it). I recently picked up a new to me head and this is now my back up plus I'm gigging much less these days. - 500 watts @ 4 ohms - 300, maybe, 350 @ 8 ohms - Separate Inputs for Active or Passive Instruments - parallel and series fx loop - keeps the bottom end intact for both time based and drive effects dirt sounds great via the loop! - Tri-Color Signal Indicator - Vacuum Tube input stage - 2 independent Switchable 4-Band EQ Channels - Tuner Out with Mute Function, Effects Loop - Adjustable XLR Balanced Direct Send - Exclusive Loudspeaker Variable Response Control - Adjustable Limiter - Footswitchable EQ Channel Selection, EQ Bypass, +6dB Gain Boost, and Mute I do not have the foot switch but the limiter is engaged and not intrusive whatsoever - works like an amp protector! The mute can be controlled from the front via a switch as is the VLF - Speakon and 1/4" Speaker Output Jacks - 2 Space Rack Mountable - Dimensions: 19"W x 3 1/2"H x 11 3/4"D. - Weight: 24lbs
  4. Bump
  5. Dries PM responded to thanks.
  6. For those who have requested sound clips they are now available upon request - they aren't studio quality but they give an idea of how the mid and tweeter controls work.
  7. Bumping this as it staring at me asking why I haven't used it in so long!
  8. For anyone who's been in touch requiring additional pic's PM me your email and I'll bounce them over to you. Cheers G
  9. My band play a one particular bar in Edinburgh which fortunately for the owners (who have a handful of bars) get a big crowd anyway by virture of their location. They have live music 7 nights a week and for August and the fringe festival have 2 bands per night over the weekend as well as on big sporting days. They know that they will be getting the business anyway. The managers view is that people who dance get thirsty so keep the songs coming lads! The bar is so profitable they sold other properties to concentrate money on a rebuild a few yrs ago following a fire in an adjacent building. I've seen them take between £19,000- £25,000 on a very busy 6 Nation's Saturday (especially if it's a St.Patrick's Day weekend with a Scotland home game at Murrayfield. I guess paying out £240 for a band or £440 for two bands over the evening is absoulte peanuts! and that is Feb/March months before the Edinburgh festival crowds decend on town!
  10. Now Sold
  11. Sweet pedal and that RAT clone/variant looks interesting. Sound clips if you can fella
  12. PM'd Been really busy so apologies for the late reply bump
  13. Bump for this lovely cab - gigged and jammed with it this week and it just delivers night after night! At this rate I may just gonna hang on to it - doesnt take up much room and a great cab for the smaller gigs.
  14. I've PM'd too - my guitarist buddy is really in need of a board and this would be perfect!

Trade offers welcome on the Pod (although I've been pretty busy using it on recordings etc) - I'd be up for an Aguilar Octamiser plus some cash!
  16. Ideally after a cash sale but I wouldn't rule out a trade - nothing specific in mind but I'm good for pedals. Bass or amp suggestions welcome as the worst I can say is no!
  17. Really would appreciate an answer as cash waiting and other boards are appearing for sales. Cheers
  18. PM'd re trade offer but sorry not what I'm after thanks.
  19. Hey PM sent and is the power lead one of these bad boys? http://www.diago.co.uk/pedal-power/diago-powerstation.html Thanks

  21. Picked up a Dr Bass cab recently a 2x12 plus a 6.5 inch mid driver. Loving it and it's nice having the extra on stage ooph over my 112.
  22. I'm usually playing between 4-8 gigs a month (£60/£70 per gig) and its really handy income on top of the day job. As I work compressed hrs in my regular job (4 days/37.5hrs) its pretty much an ideal set up for now until I notice nxt month I'm working 12 hr shifts fri/sat and early on the sunday and have gigs on the fri starting at 1am, late gig the sat and 7.30 start the Sunday. Normally it's not so cluttered but a small price to pay for playing music I like to appreciative crowds of 300+ folks each night. Living the dream? Well it's certainly not a nightmare
  23. Luke I was gonna buy that cab but you beat me to it
  24. A few yrs back Guitar Guitar had a huge blowout on Tecamp most of which I think ended up in the hands of forum users. It's nice gear and I wouldn't have minded a go on the bad bull heads. Ironically at the time of the blow out I had a power amp in for repair which I bought from guitar guitar and they eventually gave me a refund days after the heads and combo's had pretty much sold out
