Now Sold.
Could I just make everyone aware that this rig sold yesterday (Sunday 1st June). I have been paid, in full, for it and it will be on it's way to it's new owner later this week.
The reason I'm making this point is because since the listing ended yesterday it has been brought to my attention that a fake eBay listing has been made. The 'seller' has simply copied my listing and is attempting to offer this amp for sale for £1300 ish.
The eBay member listing the fake ad uses the name 'shaggy110773' and is apparently based in Colchester but if you search eBay members for 'shaggy110773' his profile is listed in Holland with 100% positive feedback...Could be a genuine user who's had his identity cloned...
Please be advised the listing is 100% FAKE! The amp is 100% SOLD! to a UK buyer based in Nottingham.
It's some kind of scam. I also received from a number of suspicious Italian eBay emails last week leading up to the listing end which when clicked on, directed me to eBay Italy but they didn't appear in my UK eBay message inbox. eBay have been sent all emails and fake listing profiles and hopefully it will be dealt with before whoever, the unscrupulous b*****d, is can scam anyone. If you do manage to see the listing and would like to report it, that will help in getting the listing removed.
Mods, would it be possible, before you lock this ad, to let anyone chime in if they have any information about the fake seller or if they have experienced this themselves.
Cheers to all the interested BC'ers for the offers. Now to find a suitable replacement!
Thank you.
