2. For those of you not in the know Chris McIntyre was resident bass guru in one of London's most well known bass shops. He's worked on EVERYBODY'S bass....including mine
3. 'Arry is a top bloke who is a pleasure to deal with! Good chat throughout! G
4. Would be interested in trading the amps for a pair of Aguilar DB112's or GS112's burmp
5. Pedal is now sold! Thanks for all enquiries and interest.
6. This really is a secret weapon, altogether a cracking wee unit! Gives you bass a nice body and fullness at the 10-11:00 setting and can add a nice high mid around 14:00 Brilliant in conjunction with drive pedals to add girth! Andy is a top bloke to deal with too bump!
7. Bought from Martyn Hassle free and kept in touch throughout with updates and planned p[osting etc. Top bloke by all accounts!
8. Some tasty rebate offers from TC. www.tcelectronic.com
9. I'm currently using a Effectrode PC-2A and talk about a magic box! I'm not a slap player but do occasionally like to hit it like I love it but it's done me wrong. The Effectrode only has two knobs and a limiter/compressor switch but it can do a wide range of compression - it's not mega complex and has no lights but the positive qualities it brings to the tone of what ever I play it through (PA, sh*tty peavey practice amp or decent combo) is worth the money. A P bass with flats going into this is just heavenly! The PC-2A is a big warm hug of a pedal which evens out the attack without choking the dynamics of my playing. I'm recording this weekend and we're gonna try it with acoustic guitar, vocals, electric guitar and bass - a total work out I can't say it's the best comp out there but it's perfect for my needs.
10. Looking forward to trying one of these and the combo too but..... How long before a more powerful version, say 500w possibly with a light weight 210 config, of this appears? I know TC are brewing something for NAMM
11. Bloody good amps bump Hey folks these are still available and I may be inclined to trade an amp for an Aguilar GS/DB 112 or other decent 112 cab. Get on it!
12. I'll have a look and update the original post Ash....... Weight 32 kg / 70.5 pounds according to the TC website. http://www.tcelectronic.com/bg500techspecs.asp Thanks
13. Hey guys and gal's So I may be a little foolish here but as I've just passed my driving test I'm looking to get a car on the road. As I'm currently playing through the P.A. in one band and gear sharing with the other band my pedal board is covering all my tone needs for gigs. First up for sale TC BG500 2x10 This is a feature laden amp with loads of volume for live gigging. From the Spectra comp, tube tone, tweeter tone, pre sets, built in tuner etc etc this amp has LOADS of feature for the money. Much has been written in the forums and in the press about these amps and they represent great tone and value for money. I use this in a pub band playing rooms of varying sizes up to 200+ ppl on busy weekends with no problems but the band have bought new bass bins and I normally go through the P.A. so its money I could put towards my new runaround This amp is normally kept in the van for gigs and is in tip top condition due to the clever tetris ability of our singer who packs everything with crazy skill! (He is a former sound guy and cares for the kit)! £359 in Andertons Im asking £250 RedDog Edinburgh have them for £569!!!! http://www.tcelectro...500features.asp for video over views of the features etc. Trace Elliot Series 6 with 12 band Graphic EQ This is what I play at home and can be seen in some of my for sale demos for other items (see link below). It was previously owned by a music teacher who used it for teaching at home. http://basschat.co.u...__custom%20fuzz Trace gear has a good enough rep without me adding to the plaudits but at 150 trace watts its LOUD and has been gigged but remains clean and tidy. All switches intact, all sliders intact, not scratching on the pots or sliders. It's super clean. Big tone in a small box! Asking £250 including a dust cover The amps are in Edinburgh and available to demo. Collection is preferred and I'll hopefully be able to drive some of the way to meet you Postage I'd ask that the buyer arranges a courier they feel comfortable using with a level of insurance they feel comfortable paying. Rest assured I'll pack the sh*t outta the amps so the leave me secure - a local guitar store in 10 minutes walk away and I have access to all their old boxes/packaging BC advice on couriers http://basschat.co.u...courier-issues/ Thanks for reading! 14. Always with the great gear - I can't wait to see what else you have for sale bump
15. The Lomenzo is now sold! The DOD Grunge is a fuzz monster and will get you some of that Muse tone as well as a great stoner/doom vibe. It's been modded from the original Grunge and as such has none of the original paint work and is just a shimy silver pedal with a pink LED. £40 posted! I'll get pic's added in a day or two. Cheers
