  2. I’d like to play one. It’s never really gonna be enough live like most low power bass amps but it’d be fun. I’d rather play a mesa bassbuster200 into a couple of 12’s but yeah I might go to Glasgow and give it a whirl.
  3. Thanks pal. It was a fun band to be in.
  4. Bunion bought a comp from me and I’d happily deal with him again. The joy of basschat is you get to deal with decent people who care as much about the community as you do.
  5. This fine upstanding citizen bought a pedal from me and I eventually got it to him and he was as patient as a Saint. Enjoy the pedal 👍🏼
  6. Just adding that we’ve done deals in the past and I’d be very happy to do so again. (Just saw I’d had feedback and not sure I’d updated on here)!
  7. If memory serves correct I recorded this album with this head and a Mesa walkabout 112 cab. The recording was certainly the di out of the amp and possibly the cab blended too. In fact all our stuff was recorded and played with this head/cab combo. I had little to do with things once it was recorded so don’t know what else was done post but I loved the head. Always delivered live and it was my only rig for a few years. https://tituspullo.bandcamp.com/album/regardless-of-how-it-appears
  8. One of the best amp deals on bc just now.
  9. For all the laughing and puzzled emoji’s a new one from Noble is $1199+$680 for the 6 week rush order option plus the 18v doubler cable. The wait list is 40-42 weeks and then there’s import taxes etc. on top. Not what some folk want to pay but for someone in a rush it’s what they’re looking at paying new for a high demand and quickly becoming industry standard piece of kit.

Good honest account of it. I like what it does but like you say it’s an expensive outlay I find out it mimics what I already have and enjoy. I dig my board and have the added flexibility of being able to swap things about without losing the elements which I like. I’ll still keep an eye out for a used one … maybe 😀🤓

I probably won’t… but I’ll still think about it from time to time. 😝

Id been looking at the capo too when one popped up for sale on here a while back. I’m currently running a Basswitch but have added in a VMT (or TRex BassJuice when I fancy a change) and a compressor in the serial loop and they work a treat. If the Capo loop is serial it’s worth experimenting with those always on pedals into the loop as you get the benefit of that parallel signal which to my ear is much preferable to a clean blend as you get a bit of everything which is good about parallel signal paths. It’s the one thing stopping me ordering a capo. A fried. Who’s a bass played heard my pub band and wanted to know the sign chain as he thought it sound big and punchy. I put that down to the serial loop! I think the Capo does all that in one box but I really like the set up I have…. Plus just got some back pay from work this month so have some ‘spare’ gear money. Honestly I’m just working all this out in my head on here sorry for the hijack 😀
  13. You’re welcome ☺️ The Colourbox is great and really adds thickness - mine has to go back to JHS for a fix as it’s developed a noise issue but it should be a straightforward tweak/repair. Got some Lightening Boy Audio 2020s passive transformer units which really come to life once hitting them with some gain/boost. A couple of those 2020s’ in combination with a SGGX Beta sound gloriously phat! Also got them hooked up in my signal path and you can hear the mojo.
  14. I thought this would have sold already - twice as many valves as a Noble and so much more functionality!
  15. Fender has some fantastic pedals in their range. I’ve been using two of them and only I have a pretty complete pedal line up I’d have given this a go as an all in one box.
  16. Tonestyler still available bump… (But I’m gonna pop it back into my p bass while I’m waiting for it to sell - the joy of a solderless loom! 😀
