Cocco, what finish is yours? if I bought the black one from Lozz would you like to swap (depending whether I like the finish on yours).
mine is 3 colour burst, rosewood and aged white. its a lovely looking thing but I do like a black bass
2. I wish mine was black
3. I was the same until I got my Lakland skyline Bob Glaub. It's by far the best precision I've ever owned.

If you're wanting £3000 out of an instrumet you might consider posting photos and at least narrowing them down to year of production and colour

What's the difference between this and an L-1500?

Do you reckon I can convince the Mrs its the same bass?
7. I've got one in Cardiff if that's any use?
8. Wow! This is lovely. I wouldn't know what to do with it but its very pretty
9. That's a cracking looking bass! Love the headstock.
10. I was just GASing for one of these....
11. I want this with black hardware
12. I love my ibanez'. This is my 1980 Blazer And my recently acquired SR605 The blazer is by far the best sounding single pickup passive bass I own. It sounds great in any situation and the SR to be honest was bought on a whim as an affordable fiver. Again a great bass that punches well over its weight price wise.
13. Oh wow! She's a looker alright congrats.
14. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/154558-sold/ this has been on here a couple of times.
15. Ibanez SR range and G&L L series would be my first choice, I havw both and they are fantastic!
16. Wow that's black! Is the fingerboard ebony? It looks super dark to me.
17. That's grounds for divorce right there! Gorgeous bass
18. Having just bought the SR you were originally looking at I have to say its great! Good luck with the ray though
19. Some jap cream there!
20. I have just got a brand new SR-605 which is awesome. Also have a vintage Ibanez blazer which is an absolute tone monster. Bang for buck wise not much comes close.
21. Just realised I haven't talked about the bass much. It has a lightning action, low and buzz free, however its original strings feel a touch light to me. Frets are a nice size, no sharp edges or flat/high spots Hardware wise its batting out of its league. Tuners feel great, bridge is substantial and pretty much movement free. I love the fact that the hardware is black too. There's full access to the whole fretboard and the neck join is tight. I don't have a bad word to say about any of it. I love a lump of ash, and I quite like the grain on it. I am tempted to stain it black like the Gary Willis model but I probably won't. I don't understand why some of the range have 3 up 2 down headstock's and some have 2 up 3 down. If anyone is in the market for an affordable 5er I'd recommend it!
