1.
Series 6 12 band 200w 1x15 combo. Reliable as anything and small footprint. May weigh a bit but louder than most modern 500w combos and great tone shaping. Plus will take an extension cab if really necessary.
Do you know for one?
2. Does anyone know if the 715 GP7 can run an exnsion cab as well as its internal speaker? http://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-bass-amplifiers/trace-elliot-715-150-watt-bass-combo-amp/1084774066 This is the one I'm gonna buy I think.
3. What I'm looking for really is ultimate bang for buck its gonna have a sansamp hitting it in the face anyway so I'm not too bothered about the best preamp in the world. I just want a good combo that I can take to gigs in small venues. Preferably that I'm not gonna be too precious of.
4. So I'm looking to purchase a lovely old green and black combo, preferably a 1x15 of atleast 150 watts. A few more wouldn't go amiss but tthat's probably minimum. My question is which one is the best and which if any should be avoided. I've seen a 715 SMC and a GP11 MK5 that are in my price range of around the £150 mark.
5. I used to have a grabber, always wondered about these. Lovely bass
6. I had a black one briefly. Was a great bass apart from it had an SPB-3 in it which I couldn't get on with. Seriously big ole neck mind. Not uncomfortable but definitely one of the biggest I've come across on a 4 string
7. Any interest in a Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub with the Fralin pickup?
8. I have this bass, same colours too. Its an incredible bit of kit and a steal at £600
9. I was so hoping this was gonna be standard. Selling my SB II elite was an awful mistake
10. Is this essentially a rebranded Washburn vulture?
11.
That's there for a reason - Alembic originally started out modifying and repairing instruments, and one of the most common 'injuries' they saw were snapped headstocks as a result of basses basses being balanced against a wall. The point design ensures the use of a proper stand. But the tone! Seriously Ash, you would love it - huge, piano-like with a load of growl and sustain. I'm going to try and figure out how to make a little recording and upload it.
I don't doubt it for a second. I've always wanted a series 1. I've recently been sorting out my old Blazer. Got the truss rod unstuck and treated it to a new tone pot. It's all but retired my Bob Glaub and because its old an rough round the edges I'm less precious of it. Result!
12. That's some serious replication going on there. I'm just not sure about the point on the bottom of the body.
13. What ohmage are the cabs?
14. I really want this.... Exactly what I need right now. I have no cash or trade fodder though until I sell my Orange rig
15. This must be the cheapest alembic ever.
16. I've always wanted to own an alembic. Just not sure how well id get on with one.
17. I need this bass. Do you do 0%
18. I want this!

Such a great looking bass. How are you finding the pickup?
21. Mighty might necks are pretty good to be fair, I have a restless one that's really really lovely.
