  1. just sold one of them for £50. Put a black widow in it as well, Loud as hell, bit flabby though.
  2. This is nearly as anorak as the God I love fusion thread! PS I love prog...there I've said it...
  3. ah ok. Do you not edit your videos in something before you upload them? Something like Da Vinci resolve?
  4. zoom Q2n-4K job done.. https://www.andertons.co.uk/zoom-q2n-4k-handy-video-recorder?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=surfaces&gclid=Cj0KCQiAiJSeBhCCARIsAHnAzT_PVg8J2cY0OtDtQvNmYh4bdD-q8DptBqFku5wQZ7NNfxzXJ7I0S3AaArEiEALw_wcB
  5. very sad news.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-64228780
  6. I;ve got the markbass CMD12, I use it when I don't have the room/strength to lug my ampeg stuff around. The Markbass is a fantastic combo IMO, loud as hell and light. I'm certainly happy with mine.
  7. theres a couple of proper solos in that setlist (whole lotta Rosie and ace of spades spring immediately to hand)
  8. please explain why? Looks a bit of a good deal.
  9. I think those will be pants as studio monitors (happy to be corrected). The Rokits will be fine. Personally I would have gone for Kali LP 6's as I believe they punch well above their weight in the price to performance ratio. https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/kali-audio-lp-6 https://musictech.com/reviews/kali-audio-lp-6-review/ https://recordingmag.com/resources/featured-reviews/kali-audio-lp-6-studio-monitors/
  10. We had the XR18 but sold it on quickly due to the faff of adjusting sound mid gig (drummers job) with an ipad. We went back to analogue desk (RCF) which was great but missed the ability to record our gigs through the desk (although the zoom H2N and 4Qn handheld recorders were pretty good) So the zoom Livetrack offers the best of both worlds, a digital desk with an analogue feel. Adjustments can be made quickly with real faders, and the ability to save a scene at each venue has come in really handy for return gigs.
  11. great gigging bass at a great price, this will fly..
  12. dunno if it helps but our zoom livetrack L20 has physical faders like an old analogue desk as well as ipad remote control interface. It also records individual stems onto an SD card or via DAW on a laptop. Lots of options, 20 inputs , six monitor mixes etc.. https://www.andertons.co.uk/recording/studio-mixers/zoom-livetrack-l20-digital-mixer-with-recording
  13. midischmidi? Or has that been done? (already?)
  14. harley benton?? https://www.thomann.de/gb/5_string_j_basses.html?manufacturer[]=Harley Benton&gk=GIEBJ5&cme=false&filter=true
  15. welcome. I'm also an old man but I'd kill for a new member!
  16. Got a VT2 Twin EQ, awesome pedal but big, and as you say somewhat delicate for constant live use. I've put it away for future use and got the Laney Digbeth DB Pre, very happy with it, similar sounding (to my bad ears), much quieter background noise and as equally tweakable. https://www.dv247.com/en_GB/GBP/Laney-Digbeth-DB-PRE/art-BAS0011725-000?campaign=GShopping/GB&ProgramUUID=HADAqJarPzAAAAFlea9yjI.G&campaign=GShopping/UK&ProgramUUID=HADAqJarPzAAAAFlea9yjI.G&gclid=Cj0KCQiAtICdBhCLARIsALUBFcHAaIGqopcdpu9xTI1c5m11fuzfyNTN80h2Fc3q38c4WzO9UPw4ZtYaAtN1EALw_wcB
  17. ah ok, anyway welcome, no banning for calling out gear here!
  18. must have been an Ampeg (Not an SVT obvs)
  19. How well do these work on bass and can you blend the signal, ie a little less organ and more pronounced bass? Thanks.
  20. wasn't someone banned from trying to sell that on the Marketplace.....
