1. PITA to explain. The top curve of the bass follows the bottom of my rib cage basically. EDIT: I don't own that bass anymore but same applies for the ones I do.
2. Brilliant song, I love it.
3. I had a 2007/8 Rockbass Corvette (active) for a few months. A lot of bass for the money, I just found the neck too clubby for me to play. Otherwise fantastic build quality and mine had a stupid amount of sustain.
4. I wouldn't know why you're Rumble cab farts out at low volume, however, the 1000w is a peak rating. Continuous they're more like 500w. But still that might not explain the problem you're having at low volume.
5. It's very tempting...but I only weigh about a 1/2stone more than the cab
6. Sold Dan some Seymour Duncan pickups. Quick and straight forward, pleasure doing business with him.

Feedback for Mace

Sold my active monitor to Ieuan (Mace). Seamless transaction. Great to meet and do a deal with Ieuan, he's a really nice bloke. If the weather hadn't had been so naff we'd probably stayed around longer for a chat
8. This is an active monitor, only used a handful of times and is now surplus to requirement. Works really well and the feedback filter is very handy. I've got the original box, with packing, the user manual and the kettle lead it came with. Here's the spec from the Behringer website http://www.behringer...cts/F1220A.aspx This will have to be collection only I think as it weighs 18kg (I'm in North Devon, willing to meet at reasonable distance). Asking £50.
9.
had a 318i - could get two hartke cabs on the back seat (410 and 115) and guitars across the rear footwell with all the boot still free for other band gear if need be
That's useful to know. I've been thinking of moving our Citroen on and getting a 3series but was concerned I wouldn't be able to get a 410 on the back seats.
10. I've got a Citroen C4 coupe, 3 door. I can fit all my gear in it, but it's a bit of a PITA. The lip of the boot is quite high so getting my combo in and out is a struggle sometimes and being 3 door... The Focus we had was ok. For transporting gear though the Nissan Almera Tino we had was the best, I could fit everything in the boot, it just used so much petrol OPEC used to convine to decide on output after we'd filled up. :/
11. Not sure this counts, but I got a set of US Army dog tags with one tag with my name on, the other has bass player.
12. Got a keyring with what looks like a pbass deluxe on it, and and pick. Otherwise, no.
13.
I think I have a toolbox fetish as I love going into B&Q and admiring them.
This isn't the forum for admitting to that
14. I've got mine in a holdall, basically a large bag. What do you keep your cables and other crap in, all those packs of strings, tools, but mainly cables. Why have I got so many bloody cables anyway?
15.
Moloko - Fun For Me Dr. Dre - Nuthin But A G Thang Justice - D.A.N.C.E. Madness - House Of Fun Two simple ones, two silly ones.
You forgot The Breeders - Cannonball.
16. In: Squier Precision (1990's Korean) GK Backline 600 head Westfield Strat copy (obviously not bass related at all ) Out: Rockbass Corvette (although it might have been last year I can't quite remember)
17.
Out of his studio albums 'The Space in Between' is my favourite. 'Mystery to Me' is cool, and 'It Only Happens Once' is more electronic/experimental. For live albums I'd get 'Live at the 55 Bar',which was his only live album released on CD.
Thank you Doddy, I'll download Mystery to Me and give it a listen. Cheers
18. For the Janek aficionados. If I were to download just one, which should it be? I've never really listened to any of his material, and call me old fashioned, but to download everything for nowt just doesn't sit well with me. I'd like to get a flavour before I dip my toe further. I can use more mixed metaphors later

20. I've posted pics of this bass on this thread before, but hopefully these'll look better
21. Bare Knuckle 500k pots and Switchcraft input jack. Only had this made up recently but replaced it with a kit made by KiOgon. Good quality pots. £10 inc p&p
22. A set of Seymour Duncan SPB-1 Vintage Pickups. Never used and still boxed with fitting instructions. £40 inc p&p.
23.
been away for a bit, just wanted to pop in and say you're all sh&te and none of you can play half as good as me. As you were.... (specially gaf, he doesn't even do solos...)
Just to point out, Dave only sounds good because he mimes to a backing track I'm f***ing awesome, Mr Houtermans told me so and he's a wicked bass player, so there
