7.
I played this when it was niceguyhomer's, looks like this is the forum harlot .
Who are you calling a harlot?
8. Just bought Jase' Hartke 3500 and when it arrived, I thought it'd come from a store - original box / packaging / manual / power lead / spare valves and in brand new nick too. Very happy customer - Jase is top drawer, thanks mate.
9.
lol do you miss it?
I really loved that bass Steve but I love the ACG equipped one I have now much more.
10. Droolsome.
11. Just received mine in the post from another member - bought as a back up for my Ashdown ABM RC500 EVOII. I dashed home at lunchtime and had a 20 minute plonk at bedroom volume and I have to say I'm very impressed with the sound - so much so that I think the Ashdown will end up being my back up head. Bit surprised that there's no speakon connectors though - had to use instrument cable to connect my cabs.
12. Very nice top that
13. If I was buying blind, I'd buy a Lakland Darryl Jones / Joe Osborn depending on what sound you're after.
14. Nice one Chris - I've used mine twice live and it did a fantastic job - uber chest thumpy punchy and to my ears clearer in the mix than a normal P. My favourite sound so far is passive with the pup blend leaning towards the P pup - gorgeous, fat sound waiting for you there but with a bit of clarity too. You'll love it.
15. Hurry up joetruscott - it's killing me
16. The sound is - as always, in your fingers. That is the pure and simple truth.
17. The door ain't ever closed John - but you know the issue.
18. I know it's a cliche but I can't believe this is still in your house Steve
19. I'd walk from Reigate to Kingston to pick this up?????
20. Damn - just seen this and I wish I'd picked this up yesterday when I was at Gatwick - would be an excellent back up for my main rig.
21. I concur sir - they're definitely a cut above.
22. Did the Burnley Blues Fest and it was fantastic - great band and a really appreciative audience. The leader of the band is a guy who goes by the stage name of 'Junkhouse Dog' and is the best harmonica player I've ever heard. I had to wing every number and there was no soundcheck (he was late) but I loved any minute of it. There's a couple of their songs here in the jukebox. It's the OV8 numbers. There's also a few rough mixes aof my other new band in there Dr. Truth. The only problem was during the last song he went 'round the band introductions and they all did a solo - when he looked at me I shook my head declining the opprotunity to make an arse of myself and so when he said..."play something soulful..." I started to play Mustang Sally. It went down like whaleshit but at least he'll never ask me to solo again. I think I may be joining them - hope so.
23. Just curious baloubass45 - where are you based?
24. It does it does...I keep buying LMIIs and then despite being perfectly happy with my sound and everything I always end up selling / trading them when something flashy comes along. I really am stupid. One of the best rigs I ever had was a LMII with 2 Aguilar 112s so I'll probably end up buying another but may hold out for the valve one coming out soon - I dunno.
