    So I've just sold my AV 58 RI Precision. Like many 50's style P's, it had the gold coloured anodised scratchplate. [b]BUT!!![/b] The plate was lacquered over the gold anodised stuff . It was much nicer to play as I've always noticed the feel of the normal one and I've never really liked it. Yes, pathetic, I know. So, the questions are; Anybody lacquered the standard gold anodised plate? How did you do it? What did you use? How much of a balls up am I going to make of it? Cheers, Karl.

    Buyer to arrange courier is often a bit tricky. To do this, the buyer needs to sort out with the seller, when it is convenient for the seller to have the bass collected. This ALWAYS puts me off. It is much easier (imo) for the SELLER to say something like " I can get it collected on X day, it will be with you on Y day". Buyer obviously to pay the carriage costs.

    Think that Sea Foam Green is Japan. There was one came up in London early in the year at £450 and it had sold before I could contact the guy
