4. Any photos of the neck pocket and end of neck please, or has the bass sold? Cheers, Karl.
5. Absolute pleasure to deal with Ant. Many thanks for making it so easy fella, I know you had a tricky timings day, but you sorted it for me. Reminded me of when I was young. IE young and not fat Fully recommended, deal with confidence. All the best Ant, cheers, Karl.

7. Many thanks Mark, great job that! Project for next weekend then, when hopefully the Wigan Breeze will be a tad less than it's average Beaufort 6
8. So I've just sold my AV 58 RI Precision. Like many 50's style P's, it had the gold coloured anodised scratchplate. BUT!!! The plate was lacquered over the gold anodised stuff . It was much nicer to play as I've always noticed the feel of the normal one and I've never really liked it. Yes, pathetic, I know. So, the questions are; Anybody lacquered the standard gold anodised plate? How did you do it? What did you use? How much of a balls up am I going to make of it? Cheers, Karl.
9. I gigged an original 84 Explorer for 17 years and still miss it. This lad could play a Gibbo, go to about 39 mins 30 secs and hang around for a couple of minutes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqcpx2K2SVA
10. You're welcome y'all
11. No Mike. I'm staying out of it for the time being as I'm honour bound to let somebody else in 1st (I'd kinda pointed him this way Thurs, then my AV went this morning . Now, if it doesn't pan out with the chap in question..............
12. Move on. It happens both ways, believe me Always more basses available than money. Sadly, these seem to be on the increase
13. Better make your mind up quick young 'un
14. Buyer to arrange courier is often a bit tricky. To do this, the buyer needs to sort out with the seller, when it is convenient for the seller to have the bass collected. This ALWAYS puts me off. It is much easier (imo) for the SELLER to say something like " I can get it collected on X day, it will be with you on Y day". Buyer obviously to pay the carriage costs.
15.
I'd love a sea foam green Japanese for 450...
So would I . I missed one in Glasgow, at £500, last year. My timimg is sh*t (just the drummer ).

18. Naw, many thanks, but get it selt. Like you, lot of interest/trade offers on my two but neither gone yet. Cracking bass at that price, won't be on here long. Edit. Mind, if I do end up getting it, I require your DNA cotton budding out of that bridge pup
19.
By any chance are you the guy selling the 5 string Elwood on one of the UK pages?
Nope, that's another Steve, mushimamonkey
20. Bugger, been watching this one on FB with the hope one of my two would go 1st. This will be gone before tea time on here
21. Think that Sea Foam Green is Japan. There was one came up in London early in the year at £450 and it had sold before I could contact the guy
22. There's one on Facebook (in Doncaster) at £650 and it's been up a couple of weeks. As much as I would love it, I still can't get round the boat anchor bit. One owner has clocked his at 12lb
23. Very surprised this is still here Dunc GLWTS
