1.
Like the dancing spiderman?
Yes. BUT, I think that was here before me. Now that bloody hypnodisk of dustnbarley's
2. There better not be any more of those really irritating moving ones Perpetrators may be visited in the small hours with a pint of maggots
3. Sorry, I can't answer that truthfully. It should sound vintage through valve amp, ceramic with flats. It should sound modern through digital, neo with rounds. Even these are massive generalisations depending on technique, equipment, effects, EQ settings. This is the pick up that was in American Standards before they started using "custom shop" pick ups as standard in 2012.
4. Good condition but some paint chips and scuffs, Indonesian Oct 2013. 800 watts @ 4ohms Comes with Markbass gigbag (£50 new) that can stay on when amp is in use. Also Markbass bass keeper (£20 new). Whole package new around £690. £400 collected from Wigan, £425 including mainland UK courier. Only up whilst the GB Streamliner 900 (my preferred amp) is still available. Apologies for photos, inevitably as soon as I stepped outside it started raining. I piggin' hate Wigan! Thanks for looking, cheers, Karl. 5. Wigan David (wn6 7tn) that's my little warehouse. Surprised it's lasted this long, great amp, great price. Down to whether I could sell my LM 800 in time.
6. Assuming this is still here, is a courier (at buyers expense) an option? Good luck regardless, cheers, Karl.
7. Splendid fellow, great bit of kit, have a bump Geert
8. It's stunning with natural character. If it plays and sounds great, keep your unique beauty.
9. Mex Standard Ltd Ed. opal/pearl white with matching headstock. Can't find a 5 I'm afraid. http://www.reidys.com/pr/electric-guitars/fender-fsr-special-edition-jazz-bass-white-opal-23395/?&utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=Feed&utm_campaign=PriceComparison&gclid=CNejzq2F6tACFRAW0wodsJMAqA
10. NOT Pro series but wonder if these will make their way over here. I like the cosmetics EDIT. They are here. £690. Tempting!
11. Thanks Adrian. Fingers crossed for your shoulder.
12. I've had probably about 10 BC'ers come to see bands I am/was in. Apparently laughter is a great tonic
13. I ordered a Fender Tweed case from Bax a year or so back. Decent price, £115 at the time. Took over 2 weeks to get to me, repeated emails to them and they couldn't have given a monkey's wang. Never again.
14. Seem to remember Geezer (and Tony) were big fans back in the day. Some of the new Nexus stuff has scary amount of controls.
15. The next bit of joy from all this is used 2005 Standard Precisions on FEEBay at £1100 (well they're £1500 new now guv ). They can bloody well keep 'em. I only gig my 2 rather special Mex's, so Fender, think I'm out now.
16. £1500 for a slightly tarted up, renamed US Standard. Gotta affect sales this side of the pond surely?
17.
Wish I could afford this Glwts
Thanks Paul
Karl, ffs just swap it for my Gibbo......
I would have swapped it (plus a few quid your way ) for your Gen3 SuperTwin Lloyd
hahaha, I'm a [s]bit [/s]err a lot slow sometimes.
5th pleaded
18. I meant shoulder pain from having a large lump of wood hanging of it. The shoul.........oh never mind
19.
Ha! in a pigs eye you want less basses, go on make me an offer I can't refuse, I'm liking the weight...
I think it's supposed to work the other way round Pike Anyway, light as it is, it's still over 8lb Tom, so a bit of a risk for you.
20. These basses were originally known as Bob Glaub basses. Lakland renamed them a few years back. They could always be specced with a jazz neck, but few made it to the UK with that spec change. Lovely basses in general and very tempting with this jazz neck. Buyers will not get a lot of chances with a used one of these.
21.
I'm agog, what more DO you want? It's red, maple, light and I like it too, pity you won't accept my Ibby as a part-ex....
Hello agog. Less basses is what I want
22. Thanks Shemeck, I think so to. I've now had 11 basses offered against this (and two quite tempting but not quite there cabs!). No cash, no Barefaced. Rather liking it with the gold mirror, it's a rather light US Precision, what more do I want
23. Final flagellation of this deceased equine. Now wearing her spare gold mirror plate, ready for a Mr. Dunn tribute . Black plate stil included. Case isn't, it comes with Fender Deluxe gigbag. Would still trade for Barefaced SuperTwelve/SuperTwin
24. I got one and sent it almost straight back. SS version, clipping came in quite early on all basses, but with the American Special, it was coming in stupid early. Which led me to use the pad. Which lost a LOT of volume as it's -15db.
25. I'm guessing if the photos have gone, the amps gone?
