1. All further pm's replied. About to go on holiday until next Saturday afternoon. No reception mobile/wi-fi where we go, so no bumps, no replies for a week. To the three guys who are selling stuff to buy this, any pm's will be sorted in chronological order. Cheers, Karl.
 2. I may be wrong but if you are based in Burnley, give bagsieblue (Martyn) a shout. Good luck.
 3.
Wow! that's a big word Karl, 'send'

'Cosmo Valdemar' Please don't buy Mel's P, I want it. MB1. Fnarr Fnarr! 4.
Ah Karl, I've gone all shy! I put flats on the Fender the other day, and its lovely........
Stop that that man!
 5. Thunderbird, thanks. Cosmo, you will probably get it. Tom and Martin, I'm going to send you two to a vivisectionist
 6. Bob is a lovely bloke to deal with, you will be getting a wonderfully sorted and looked after instrument. He will not be selling his 60th Anni P until I get some money together GLWTS Bob, but with that bass at that price you won't need it.
 7. He's not been on site since June 22nd so it's probably gone, however it may be worth PM'ing him.
 8. And I'm trying to flog my Lakkie to buy this
 9.
I could paint it orange for you Karl then Stevie boy Harris would be jealous I like the Glaub very much......
PM's replied thanks. LIGHT, at just under 8lbs (you know who you are ).
 10. Beautiful. And 2 days after I blew my loot on a 62 re issue jazz. However, I do have £250 and a Lakland Bob Glaub
 11.
Nice one Clarky, good luck with the album.
Couldn't agree more, well done that lot
 12. Many thanks Tim, very kind. Yup, it's a beauty. Got a bit of a Steve Harris white P fixation going on so this is up. Might end up getting a slab body, licensed neck and some artwork. Surprisingly not a lot of interest in the Glaub , but not the end of the world if I'm stuck with it. My two basses ideal didn't last long
 13. Yup, did a few bits in Europe in the 80's with one of these strapped on. Hideous neck dive, thunderous sound. I'm going to have a punt on this one as well. Saw it yesterday couldn't believe it, first one I've seen for years. Gentlemen, start your engines. Oh and there's an Ibby Destroyer up at the moment. I got one of those early 80's (P/J unlike this one) and the shop in Stockton told me it was the first in the UK. Bet they said that to all the boys
 14.
My Child, repentance is nigh. Please say 10 "On The One...HUH!", 25 "yowsa yowsa yowsa" and cite the Prayer for Bass Players: "The drummer is my lord and I shall not rush. He maketh me lay out in tasteful places He leadeth me beside cool meter changes He restoreth my "one". Yeah man, though I read through the trickiest of charts, I will fear no train wrecks. For he is down on it. His hihat and snare, both comfort me They setteth up a solo for me In the presence of guitarists. You bestoweth my licks with Big Nasty. My groove overfloweth. Surely good feel and funk will flow through all the tunes of each set. And I will dwell in the pocket Forever. Amen."
Can I shoot our drummer and nick yours? (actually he's brill but he would admit to adrenaline occasionally getting the better of him).
 15. Top bloke. Space Ritual for me as well. Got pissed with him and Fast Eddie at the bar in Middlesbrough Rock Garden when they did their first tour for the first album. Get well guv'nor.
 16.
Ay up Karl
Whoa, Les, you and the Tex mob are both legenday and different around these parts. Nice one

 18. Thanks LB. I have only dealt with him by email. He seems a real nice guy. I was gutted when I got the photos and it was a rosewood board.
 19.
This still here Karl?
Hope so Tom or I'm buggered for tonight's gig Whilst I'm on, I have really no idea what happened to photo number 2. Photo's numbers 1 and 4 are much more representative of the condition of the bass, ie very good. Hopefully my feedback will over- ride any concerns, however, it doesn't seem right to delete that photo once it's been put up. Cheers, Karl.

 21. That is fabulous tommo. If you are looking for a &$&*faker, perhaps you might have a look at the Faecesbook page for $£%"Fakers https://www.facebook.com/groups/78514186083/
 22.
Yep. Out of the market since Monday when I wrote 'sorted' on the thread ! Bumpo...
Sorry, didn't look at your thread as I had nothing to offer Does this 62 come with the ash trays or muting stuff? Cheers, Karl.
 23. Yes it is. It went from bassatnight to Clive H, to me, to Lloyd to Peety. Me, Lloyd and Peety are renowned gear changing tarts, I had a year of pestering Clive to get it but it ended up going for the next MUST HAVE. The volume control is down/active, pull out passive. Super bass so bloody hurry up and buy it. My recently imposed 2 basses only rule is struggling
 24.
Oh god, I would still be taking sickness pills.... Saying that I sold my 72 Jazz for peanuts, I think I got £175 for it in the late eighties.
Pre computer time for me, no FEEBay or Basschat's predecessor, just a local Scottish free paper. Hey ho!
 25. Can't remember if they had the neck mudbucker by 68. I know my Sonic Blue 72 did. I sold it about 10 years ago for £200
