3. Thanks LB. I have only dealt with him by email. He seems a real nice guy. I was gutted when I got the photos and it was a rosewood board.
4.
This still here Karl?
Hope so Tom or I'm buggered for tonight's gig Whilst I'm on, I have really no idea what happened to photo number 2. Photo's numbers 1 and 4 are much more representative of the condition of the bass, ie very good. Hopefully my feedback will over- ride any concerns, however, it doesn't seem right to delete that photo once it's been put up. Cheers, Karl.

6. That is fabulous tommo. If you are looking for a &$&*faker, perhaps you might have a look at the Faecesbook page for $£%"Fakers https://www.facebook.com/groups/78514186083/
7.
Yep. Out of the market since Monday when I wrote 'sorted' on the thread ! Bumpo...
Sorry, didn't look at your thread as I had nothing to offer Does this 62 come with the ash trays or muting stuff? Cheers, Karl.
8. Yes it is. It went from bassatnight to Clive H, to me, to Lloyd to Peety. Me, Lloyd and Peety are renowned gear changing tarts, I had a year of pestering Clive to get it but it ended up going for the next MUST HAVE. The volume control is down/active, pull out passive. Super bass so bloody hurry up and buy it. My recently imposed 2 basses only rule is struggling
9.
Oh god, I would still be taking sickness pills.... Saying that I sold my 72 Jazz for peanuts, I think I got £175 for it in the late eighties.
Pre computer time for me, no FEEBay or Basschat's predecessor, just a local Scottish free paper. Hey ho!
10. Can't remember if they had the neck mudbucker by 68. I know my Sonic Blue 72 did. I sold it about 10 years ago for £200
11. Some close ups of the wear/chips/dinks might help as folk from afar may not want to splash out on unseen wear?
12. This one is only advertised on NorthWest bands, but you would be hard pushed to find the advert. The only reason anybody else is hearing about this is because it has a rosewood board. If it had been maple, it would be in my house! The bass is in Lytham, near Blackpool, he want's £400 collected (bargain), if you want details let me know and I will give you Paul's contact details. Nothing in this for me. I saw the ad, I would have bought if it had been maple. I'm putting it up on here in case anybody might have missed out. Cheers, Karl. 13. Stunning. When the chap who advertised that he wanted a 62 has made his mind up, I may well be in touch. If it's still here Bump.
14. See, here I am Steve, minding my own business, wondering if Bass Gear are going to realise their green Joe Osborne is £100 overpriced. Wondering when they will reduce it for me to buy. THEN YOU COME ALONG, with one of my old flames (before Lloyd took her, the homewrecker ). This is a fabulous bass folks, power and tone and a jazz neck. Hurry up and get it bought bump!
15. Alain's a top bloke and this is a cracking bass, like all his others. Just get it bought peeps.
16.
I'm sure i don't have to to tell you this but ebay are a law unto themselves on listings. I have reported lots of things that by their own rules are not allowed to be listed and some listings they end and some they don't. They do not stick to their own policies. It's all very strange.
+1
17. I did a quick search and the last two East J's (used) one here both went for about £120 ish, so £100 would be a quick sale i would think. Just find it amazing this hasn't gone at £649.
18. Isn't that just dollars price though? Will it not be hit by VAT, import, customs over here, unless through an authorised dealer? Sorry, I'm a bit 40 watt.
19. Very tempting! Head new about £500, cab now discontinued but were about £800. Head is good in that there is a 4 ohm/8 ohm selector switch on the back of the head, so you can get full (loud) power on an 8 ohm cab. 20. Hi again 4 Strings, just for clarification, would you courier this at buyers cost? Also, the bass is 2005/2006 so the original spec would probably be the S1 switching configuration. Personally if I was in your shoes and DESPERATE! to get rid, I would remove the East, put the stack knobs back on, bass out at a STUPID £600 plus courier, and the East at £100 plus pp. If I was DESPERATE. If you don't have the skills to do the above, ask around on here, there will be somebody close to you that does have the skills. THAT is what Basschat is about That bass is a bloody bargain at £649. GLWTS, Karl.
21. Interesting to see what happens. I reported this as well, at 8.15 this morning.
22. The last two adverts I've reported just carried on to the end, ie FEEBay did nowt.
23.
I think I'll give this a swerve, shame I liked the colour..in answers to:- "It doesn't have a serial number? Do you know the age? Where made, US, Mexico or Japan? Any other details found on the bass? How long have you owned it, gigged it etc?" "Mate I've had the same questions from a million people. I haven't got any answers your looking for I'm afraid. I've had it 12 months, I bought it from a guy I worked with. That's all I can tell you. It is a very nice guitar"
Yup, I got pretty much the same response. He might not know much be he ain't putting the questions up and he is still calling it a Fender. Somebody is probably going to get shafted
24.
I mailed the seller..."....no serial number"
Me as well, they said no serial number anywhere, neck, plate, headstock. I emailed back and advised them it was VERY unlikely it was any kind of genuine Fender. They didn't reply to that mail, nor change the ad.
25. Ye Gods, that is stunning! Bump. Karl.
