Here is my Fender Jazz.

The bass is virtually unmarked and is beautiful, everything a sunburst Jazz should be. It plays very nicely with a low action, no issues at all, I think it's had an easy life so far!

Its got the 60th Anniversary tag on the headstock, but its not a 60th Anniversary special.

it has a John East J-Retro preamp which gives an amazing set of available sounds. Just switch it off to go to standard Jazz. It also has Dimarzio pups and sounds absolutely amazing.

The bass was bought with a preamp and the battery compartment and side jack installed by a luthier (I was given the receipt for this it cost over £200 to have done but, at the moment at least, can't turn it up). I wasn't over happy with the preamp and so installed an East J-Retro. This is pretty amazing, very powerful, particularly as there are two batteries and so uses the 18V option. If this is deemed to be too powerful simply take out a battery and the preamp operates on 9V. It needs to be heard really, so come and try it out.

I have the original control panel that came with it, it has stacked knobs. Not sure about that, did Fender reissue a Jazz with those..anyone? Anyway it means the preamp is reversible, simply swap it back to the passive electronics if you wanted to. Can't imagine why, but you never know.

Not sure what else to say, if you're looking at this ad you'll know about Jazz basses and the legendary John East preamps.

Original Fender hard case and case candy all comes with.

Bit of a reluctant sale, but it doesn't get used as I'm pretty set into my Stingray, I'm sure someone can give it the use it deserves.

I'm in Hornchurch, Essex, by all means come by for a try out. I'm sure you'll be impressed.

Times are hard and it's priced accordingly.

I'd consider a US G&L 4 string in a trade.

I've always found cream pickup covers on jazz basses to be pretty ugly, but somehow that just looks great. If I didn't already own a sunburst maple American standard (which I'm now considering making these aesthetic mods to) I'd be all over this. Great price with those extras too.

Yep, know what you mean, jury's out for me on cream pup covers too, but, tbh, black covers cost virtually nothing on the 'Bay. However, I've grown to quite like it being a little different. I wonder how many sales Dimarzio lost because they were cream.

You can't even buy a decent camera for this, only the body, and that at a knock down price...
