Hi there, Bassist available in the Corby/Kettering/Leicester area looking for a new band (No cover or tribute bands). I'm French, my english is not so perfect but I guess It will be better days after days. I'm more into rock music mostly but I'm open to everything... To talk about myself a little bit, I'm 29 and I play bass for 15 years now and I have made around 100 concerts. In France, I had a couple of bands wich I did many shows with. Between 2005 and now, I have toured with bands such as Deftones (4 french shows), The Chariot & Mychildren Mybride (Euro Tour), Animals As Leaders & Between the Buried and Me (Euro tour) and have played with/opened for bands in Paris such as Saosin, Underoath, Taking Back Sunday (Taste of Chaos 2006), Silverstein, 36 Crazyfists, Deaf Havana, Devil Sold His Soul, Fei Comodo, Parkway Drive, Attack Attack (US)... I had endorsement deals with Sandberg Guitars (i'm still on the website btw), Ernie Ball and Aguilar Amps as well. I can play with a pick, fingers...a bit of tapping/slap as well. Any questions, let me know... PS : I have my own car but my amp is still in France at the moment. But I can have another amp very quickly if requested...

Hello everyone, My name is Alexis (you can say Alex). I come from Paris, France, I'm 29. I play bass for 15 years now, and was in a "heavy music" band wich I toured with for 1 year and a half all over europe and I recently moved to the UK for a new job. I just wanted to say hi, I don't know anybody here in the UK so I thought it would be a good idea to "talk" to some english bass colleagues and share some ideas. I'm using Sandberg basses (was an endorsee for them), 4 strings mainly but I do own a 5 strings bass, Aguilar Amps (AG500 and DB212) and Ernie Ball strings. It's Schecter, not Schector ! I tried this bass. Good product but do not expect any Rickenbacker sound. It's more versatile but with less "personality"

I tried a PJ 5 strings (in a gorgeous Vintage Blonde finish) when I visited the Sadowsky workshop last summer...great bass, way brighter than the JJ version. I want this bass, It will looks cool with my Metro MV4
