2.
Hi, is the black one for sale then?
Sorry, it never went up for sale. Chris bought it before I got that far.
3. Nice artwork on da bass dood bump. Oh, I have the non tweeter S12V, amazing once "run in".
4. Cheers folks. Loving the P Mel, one of the reasons this is up for sale/trade. A P has just the right amount of dusty end Hopefully the following link has a kind of "bookshelf" of specifications, different tabs for neck, body etc en/Warwick--Instruments--Made-in-Germany--Limited-Edition--2003---Thumb-Bolt-On-Ltd.--4-string--Features.html
5. Sorry to hear that Mr. Stones. Amazing bass, somebody is going to get lucky. Bump.
6. Shagocaster?
7. 2003 LTD Edition Bleached Blonde Thumb Bolt On 4 string. Number 027 Sale value £1000, trade value £1100. GONE THANKS. 8. So, I'm a bit slow (from Darlington originally you see). If you were prepared to take a Precision with rosewood board, to swap the necks out, would it make any difference if a Precision came along with a maple board?
9. Just got Mel's 2010 Precision off her. About 6 hours from agreeing a deal to getting the bass in my paws. Couldn't have made it any easier and the bass was in even better nick than described. As everybody else has said, deal with utmost confidence folks, cheers Mel and look after yourself, Karl.
10. Just a thought Mel but you are uncomfortable with couriers but prepared to get train etc. Some people may be put off by train stations because they can be notoriously difficult to park at. Perhaps a friend would be something to consider. Say for instance they were prepared to take you to say Frankley services for a meet, that would save about 80 miles on the round trip for a prospective buyer from North, South or East. Anyway, just a thought. Cheers, Karl.
11. Nice one Rich, ta for sharing
12. It means one is contemplating robbery without violence, to fund buying your bass. Ladies are not keen on maggots despite them being harmless (the maggots, not the ladies). Oh, bump for goodness sake.
13. Off license and a pint of threatening maggots for the ladies tonight and it will be mine
14. Amazing
15. Sorry Chris. The sunburst one photographed on this thread was paulies. I think that one has been sold. When I get my black one back from the luthier where it is getting serviced, my black one will be up for sale. That is the black one that I sent you a photo of this morning. I'm getting confused now
16.
If not, Karlfer is selling a black one of these.
Many thanks for that Graham. I did actually remove the Glaub from sale as I was using it every gig . However, I have literally just got a Glaub back I had before and Tim who had it, put a Lollar Jazz Pup on it. One will probably be up for sale later in the week. The one that was for sale is currently getting serviced as we finally have a couple of weeks between gigs (drummer on hol). I'm rambling now aren't I I have been in touch with Chris but thanks for thinking of both of us. Cheers, Karl.
17. And Tim and I have just done a deal involving him getting my AV62 RI (when will I ever learn I don't get on with rosewood ) and me getting my old Glaub back. Top, top fella, can't say any more. Enjoy Tim and many thanks again. Karl.
18. Somebody north of border is going to get lucky. Cheap because he is moving house and needs rid quick! RARE Trace Elliot 5-string T-Bass Govanhill, Glasgow
19. Yup, wonderful looking bass but I'm about to put my AV62RI Stack Knob up for fractionally less then this one is out at . And it's Japanese!
20. I've never seen one before, looks a bit of a bitsa? Way overpriced IMHO, but I like it. Preloved | fender hollow p bass cij tele jazz f hole for sale in West Yorkshire, Yorkshire
21. Come on you lot, get this bought so that he puts his 60th Anni P up
22. Sorry Mel, I really wanted a pop at this gorgeous bass but in three weeks no takers for my Glaub, so I'm out. Good luck kiddo, it's a belter. Karl.
23. Hurry up and get this bought peeps before I start an ad for my AV62RI Stack knob. This Sadow really is superb! Bump.
24. So, at before God o'clock this morning I mailed Tim asking if he had a spare Glaub scratchplate (I knew he had ). He took it to work, we met at his work, it's now on my Glaub. Top man Tim, thanks so much fella, really appreciated. Brilliant guy! Karl.
25.
Just so you know. The Bob Glaub has a wide nut. If you want a jazz nut on a lakland P you're looking for a Duck Dunn
The Glaub actually is made with both 1.75 inch and 1.5 inch nut width, although the narrower nut is rare over here.
