    Amazing bass for the money… and I can vouch for Delano SoapBars… I have them installed on my RIM Marseer and I love the dark growl they give! Wish I had a suitable trade dude. Someone needs to buy this now!

    I actually like the Warwick. A little different, but not in an awful Adam Clayton custom way. Kinda a Warwick/Fender Hybrid.     THIS HAS NOW SOLD Hi folks, I had serious EUB GAS and after much searching picked this up as the nicest EUB I'd tried. After some time of solid playing upright, the GAS has not only passed but I find I don't enjoy the experience as much as I thought I would and if anything it's made me try harder on my other bass skill set. It's a Bassline Universal 5. The current (or most recent) spec of this from Bassline is a longer scale and has a piezo pickup along with a slightly different body shape. Mine is an early production model and was designed as a hybrid electric fretless/EUB. It's a shorter scale - 34", and has 2 magnetic passive pups. It has sunken strap lock points (set of locks included) so it can be worn as a regular fretless bass (and my god it's a head turner if you do!!!) but also had a great adjustable stand and an end pin for EUB duties. Great condition with only a few marks, solid maple body and ebony fretboard. Restrung 3 weeks ago with LaBella Deep Talkin' Flats. It has amazing tone and is cabale of both punchy fretless sounds and smooth upright tone based on how you use the pups and your playing style. AMAZING neck contour! Flamed Ash body/neck & Ebony board. Pics - The current spec one is listed on Basslines website at €3050 (ouch!).     Moogerfooger 12 stage phaser (on 12 stage mode) with some valve dirt before it. Moog phaser is f'ing amazing after a fuzz...

    At least I bought the Ashbory! An a top gent you were as well! I too have had buyers 'mess' me around. I've held an item in good faith, on the back of constant communication for 6 weeks for them to turn around and say they found another. Very frustrating. But for every sale fallen through I have had 10 great transactions. The feedback section here are 99% positive so something works. I guess it's the 'risk' you take when trading/selling via a source where no contracts of sale are applicable. Given the feedback thus far though I think it's fair to say you've had more bad luck than most, bit I don't think it's typical of the average basschatter. In defence of the chap thatce to yours... I have been to try a bass I was certain was perfect for me, only to not like it in the flesh. Yes, I did declare the fact there and then, but not everyone is as confident a communicator as me. Sorry you've had some trouble with buyers on here, but rest assured some of us are awesome!

    I used to own 2 older Status basses. A Shark II and a Groove (My groove was a sunburst one). It was the first bass I owned that had a really slim neck profile (something not modelled on a Fender) and it blew me away. The feel is great and the tone is lovely for rock and finger funk. These were great value money when they were released (around £600 of I recall) but at the price they come up 2nd hand, if you get one in good condition it's a real steal. I regret selling my Groove. They are awesome.

    These are stunning basses that play & sound like they're worth 1k easy. Great fat punchy sound. I good combo of stingray growl and articulate jazz bass tone. Bargain buy this! Someone snap it up quick.

    Blowtorch is good with actives... Most Fuzz pedals with a 3 band EQ are. I miss my Blowtorch actually
