    This is a great cab. Sensitive enough to warrant standalone 8ohm use. FWIW, I don’t think there’ll be any new TKS cabs off the production line for the foreseeable, so grab them while you can...

    As much as I can in the woolly world of describing heft... When I play a note, it feels tangible. It has a solid core. Yes, that sounds ridiculous... but I don’t care.

    Happy to report both my Maruszcyks were delivered with no issues. Sorry to hear others haven’t had the same experience. They’ve expanded pretty quickly, maybe that’s the root of any QA issues?

    IMO it’s a transient thing. I’m not sure judicious EQing could could reintroduce it for me.

    I'm not a fan of either... that I've tried so far. I haven't used the Quilter, or the new generation used in the Mesa Subway etc. so obv. I can't comment on those.

    I disagree. My interpretation comes from years of using a variety of amps (and cabs) in a variety of difference spaces. I've learned that some heads have it, and others don't. While it could be a specific characteristic of each amp, I've noticed it's broadly aligned to whether the amp is... no, I'm not going to say it 😄

    It seems to be something that resonates with some, and not others. It's not about volume. It's about dynamics.

    Despite being a huge Rush & Genesis fan, I completely avoided Yes for decades - they just seemed flowery and bloated. I'm kicking myself now - I absolutely love 'em, and CS was magnificent. I wish I'd seen them live.
