1. Indeed, that's what's holding me back from pulling the trigger. It looks like a great bit of kit with amazing functionality. Just wondering if anyone had used one for a while and not had any problems. No amp in there so shouldn't be too much to go wrong. But £600 is a lot to spend on the skoda equivalent of the music world.
2. Hi Guys I have been doing some research onto the best tablet / mixer / monitor send. The XR 18 ticks all the boxes, has anyone used it. Also does anyone have anything else where individual monitor mixes can be played with? Ta Mike
3. Never leave the wife and the groupies outside. Even the ghostbusters knew not to cross the streams.
4. Wow, I need those in my life. I dread to think how much though!!!
5. When you get offered the gig, don't forget to ask about money, PA and lights, as there can often be strange arrangements such as the singer takes 10% for organising gig / website etc. or our last bass player provided the PA and we assumed you would do the same. Good luck.
6. The red looks great. Glad someone has taken this as I was very close to pulling the trigger.
7. Do you ever head east at all, I am in Chichester and can get to Portsmouth / Southampton?
8. Looks loves, shame it is well above my price range.
9. I am happy to pay £150 for the head. I am based on the south coast, do you ever head this way? Ta Mike
10. Time to day goodbye by Catherine Jenkins will make me cry like a child. Also Constellations by Enter Shikari makes my skin stand on end everytime.
11.
Angel Witch by Angel Witch great song which also made them the least successful chart act ever, number 75 for 1 week only! First live band I ever saw as well.
Perhaps ... 5 hit Wonders would be more appropriate
12. Don't forget a pick holder & beer holder.
13. Cheers guys. Clutch were mention as I like them the few times I have seen them. I was of the opinion as we are starting out we need to hit the obvious targets and do them well. The popular choice so far by those in the band who know more are Up jumped the devil, Strange face of love, born under a bad sign, this life and wicked stone. To be honest none of which I know at the moment but tomorrow will be a different day.
14. Wow, so much music I just don't know ;-)
15. [sub]Thanks for the suggestions, I will give them all a listen.[/sub]
16. I'm classing Heavy Blues as more distorted than your regular BB King, the sort of thing Slash does, somewhere in the middle between Metal and Blues.
17. I may be getting involved with a heavy blues project. Predominantly covers to start. This is not my area of expertise and I was wondering if you had any blues numbers in your set that set the world on fire or if they are any numbers that need to be avoided or any advice in general. Many thanks in advance. Mike
18. I would express it as "Something sounds wrong, can we take some time to all agree we are playing the same thing"
19. Marillion - Misplaced Childhood amazing first side, second side still solid with a great story weaving throughout it. I had it on LP.
20. Sad news, the chap running owner Guitar Junction is a really nice chap and is struggling to keep the shop alive in a town with rent as high as Chichester. I would recommend trying GB music in Bognor. Dave is a top bloke and assists greatly in the local music scene.
21. Indeed, no doubt that government jobs are more secure than others as customers generally can't go elsewhere, but when the cuts come staff are the first thing to go.
22. That feeling when with 10 seconds to go and your internet decides to lag!!!!!
23. Just out of interest which venue is this?
