  1. I am thinking of attending as I have some amp issues I would like to discuss. Is anyone going an impedence / Gallien Kruger / Barefaced cab expert. I have lost the stuffing out of my mark 1 barefaced compact and I think it is suffering for it. Using my GK and Big Twin trips the protection on my cab. There are so many outputs, knobs and switches on the back of the amp, I think I am trying to land a plane!!!!!
  2. What's the price drop on the Ergodyne?
  3. Just keep saying "pardon?", see who gets bored first
  4. I am with you Mudpup, do not underestimate my skills to bugger things up when it comes to electrickery
  5. I thought these were passive, I am surprised they are "hot". Are these the sterlings that are hot, or the MMs as well?
  6. I will keep my eyes open for a MM Sub 5er. I can find the extra if necessary. Is there a Child for sale section ;-)
  7. Many thanks fretmeister, can anyone give a comparison of the two sound wise, even if just preference. Am seeing a 5 string sterling sub up for £200, which is the right price for me, but is quite far away, so don't want to travel to buy if it is not great. Thanks
  8. Hi Gang, I have seen a Sterling Sub for sale, is this the same as a music man sub? I presume not but do not know better. I presume the sterling is just and inferior copy. Thanks in advance for the help. Mike
  9. Evil Scarecrow, just look up Crabulon on Youtube!!!!
  10. I second Death Punch and Killswitch. Great bands
  11. So the drummer forgot to do up the catches on the trailer and my "spare" bass ended up falling out and getting run over. So I am looking for something new. I am playing metal and considering a Traben, does anyone have an opinion on these. Also saw a BBNE for sale at a budget I can afford (although it has gone now) is it worth holding on for one of these? Thanks Mike
  12. Sadly one dimensional. I am a big fan and thought they would be the next big thing but never transcended, If you want weird try Babymetal. Probably the slickest metal band with young Japanese girls singing and dancing. Amazing and soul destroying at the same time.
  13. Interested in the EP1500 I don't suppose you head towards the south coast at all (Chichester, West Sussex)?
  14. I shall be at the Festival. Will try and make it but it is quite early for the first band and I am usually hung over. I am so jealous.
  15. To be honest it would cost me more in petrol than the item. Keep selling it and if it is available next time I pass I will PM you and collect. Cheers
  16. I am more than happy to walk, we are staying at the Aphenia Manhattan near times square. Wont be going to the cinema lol ;-)
  17. Many thanks. I did Ruth's Chris in Atlanta a few years ago. It was very good indeed. Like the idea of Musts and wants. Cheers
  18. I would like this. Do you come to the south coast at all? I am in Chichester?
  19. Many thanks. The rickshaw sounds good. Will it seat 4?
  20. I think the Mrs is set on a particular hotel, but I will run this past her. I would like to do a good bus tour so I would welcome any recommendations. Mmmmmm steak!!!!!!
  21. [sub]Many thanks. That's the problem with the Us there are so many great eateries that you don't want to find any of the rubbish ones.[/sub]
  22. Well, I am off to New York end June early July to get married. Am just taking the misses and two kids (13 + 16). We are there for one week. What are the family must do's out there. Many thanks in advance. Mike
  23. Saw Enter Shikari last night. They were amazing but every band the bass was too low in the mix, yet the drums were mixed perfectly. Why do sound engineers do this. It is such a small thing but it kills the groove. I have seen lots of bands where this is the issue. Just ranting
  24. The Harwick have cancelled some of our gigs as well. I know Nicky who runs the entertainment and she was so gutted to stop the live music. The guy who owns the Hardwick used to run the Fountain and Vestry in Chi and also loves his live music. Sometimes you have to call a spade a spade and the Hardwick has always been a DJ type venue.
  25. This weekend is the final weekend for this great venue. Such a shame but once again it is the victim of a rubbish location, just like the Family Tree in Bognor. My band Dropzone will be playing on the Friday and Saxonised (a tribute to saxon) will be playing on the last night, Saturday. Will probably be a coop in a couple of weeks time. Sad times indeed!!! Mike
