2. And I hope you used a genuine 'Duck Dunn' pipe cleaner or those low mids will be suffering Glad its sorted
3. Have a great time Mikey, looking forward to seeing the end results! Peter
4. So that's active pups and passive electrics then Mark?
5. That does look rather the business, and Mikey's bass too!
6. I would say that the Pyramids have less zing but wouldn't say they were too thumpy, more mellow and old school. They have a great flexi-feel to and seem consistent for a long time. I love them and have tried nearly all.
7. Final touch, the bass has holes in the plate and , as I later discovered screw holes for a rest. I'm surprised one wasn't fitted or supplied but it would have been black plastic anyway. I've fitted an ebony rest in place, purely decorative don't you know With the bits the bass still comes in at only 9lbs.
8.
And how do you get your grass to be so green? Or is it my monitor?
We have something abundant up North called rain
9. Sad to hear this has to go Tom. This is a beauty and Tom is a star. I'd bump the thread but it's at the top already
10. That's stunning it really is. Did DW do the finishing? Peter
11. I've worked with kids for several years and find them great once you make the connection and get under the veneer to the person beneath. Once the point is explained to them in a way that isn't 'adult looking down on child' then I believe most will respond well.
12. There's some seriously sweet basses at great prices around at the moment! Bump
13.
Mine was a Comfort Strapp with two Ps Ppeter
Kk and worth knowing thnx, I tie wrap mine anyway to prevent any such probs.
14. I've had a 'Comfort Strap' fail in this way but 'Comfort Strapps' (there is a difference) seem much better constructed. I just wonder if yours was the former, similar copy type or the original? Peter
15. There is to me no viable alternaltive: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp...rt_Strapps.html
16.
Thanks Pedro - Russ and me'll be up soon. He's delighted with his Kinal - can't wait to try that and you're new acquisition.
You mean acquisition(s)
17. That looks absolutely marvelous Russ, looking forward to seeing it for real. Your suggestion is a good un btw, is Alan around? Dickie Doodles? Peter
18. I've resigned myself to play 4 as long as I breath. This Sandberg is really rather special. Bump
19. Killing time in music shops sometimes ends up being an expensive business too
20.
I hope they catch the scummers.
Bloody hell, Southampton supporters a long way from home then
21. I was in Promenade Music in Morecambe again today and to be honest the guys in there couldn't be more helpful. I do fully understand where you're coming from Pete and sympathise. Some young people have little respect for other people or their property, the minority but as has been said it colours everyone's perceptions. Peter
22. 23. I know that this is a mega bargain. Peter - with new found Fender love
24. Welcome. A post in the 'Wanted' section might be a good idea. Peter
25. This is a lovely looking P and would have been coming my way if it wasn't for my 62 AV. Bump
