    Thanks for signing up for righteous bump. Complain to your local police fraud squad. Someone had his actual bank account details up the thread. Cops should be knocking on his door verily once one takes an interest. If you look in ''his cousin'''s thread Mike [Hunt] ( can't remember his actual name at the minute but exact same M.O.) there should be a link to a national crime squad focusing on these side income stream internet swindlers.

    Aussie have told the credit card banks to shove it and limited the fees they can charge to less than 1%. I don't know why it's taking so long to get done here. 2.5% off of 'everything' is out and out robbery, they're 'taxing' all your costs of sale, plus the VAT!

    Not over here. It was a breach of the merchant account conditions with the bank, until the gummint said those contracts were illegal. Now very common to see surcharge percentages added onto credit card transactions. People are addicted to credit so the banks just make their end on a bigger amount.

    It's not complicated to post internationally. All you have to do is fill in the green sticky form declaring content and value. Job done. If someone really really wants it this month ( year?) they will do the deal (and pay another round of sales tax at their end). Not complicated at all. Cheaper for a Euro to get a new one direct from Canada if they could only order one. Ain't limited supply grand! Nice demo video! So many good tones in one box.

    The bass gear mag joker Tom Bowlus did a big review. He pumped up two with an 800w Quilter and reckoned he was getting to use most of it, to good effect. Beats me why Peavey/Trace have been so long bringing out a big brother for Elf.

    It's commonly accepted over at Talkbass that the 2x8 puts out like a good old 2x10. That being the case a pair ought to be enough to get the soundman telling you to turn down.

    It's impossible to quote repairs without diagnosis. It could be a loose connection, likely minimal charge. It could need all the transistors replacing.... For the money he's asking you could tear the amp out and you've got a slightly heavy cab for 40 quid until the next time you're passing Ashdown HQ.

    Amp makers vary. At least pedal makers fell in line a little bit with R to L even if jacks are on top or at rear.

    That's a whole different song you're singing. OP has a complaint of too much low mid and not enough spank on the high end. I'm of the opinion turning those filters down to zero is a good place to start playing with the EQ. They are very powerful.

    Flat for the filter knobs is off = 0 Many people assume incorrectly that noon in keeping with the EQ knobs is neutral. So that is why I point it out from time to time.

    Some have a dodgy amp to chassis ground via a star washer that rusts. When that happens the amp blows up in a bad way. I think it's only on the bi-polar 'bear' version.

    Dual band compression makes it an SMX, most likely a 250, being smaller than your MkV. Peavey really goofed when they left out the EQ Balance in the new stuff, if you ask me.
