2. Its an ESP/Ltd, can't remember the model name but Mike Duda from WASP was using one when I caught his pick! EDIT: EC 414FM http://www.espguitars.com/basses/ltd-stand...e/ec-414fm.html ESP make great guitars, japanese quality . I had a PC-2V, easily as good as an ES335 with Bigsby and only £850. That ^ one's only £600 with a fantastic spec!!
I've been interested in these since Kasabian's first TV appearance, they're the only modern band I listen to, although, their newest singles have been less than great . I don't think i'd go for one at that price though, maybe £1600 . I don't actually know what they're worth??
5. This was mine and Bob Palt's before, so its been well looked after by BC'ers . I'd recommend this as an amp for some who plays all sorts of different styles and basses as the FET channel has your clean hi fi tones and the Valve channel your booming vintage tones - theres no brittle tones, this things got ballz!! More than EBS I'd go for one of these over those anyday. I miss this amp very much. Gutted to hear about the Elbow injury Garbev, you were loving the EUB!! Hope it clears up!
6. Ok final bump before I move to Carlisle from the Cardiff area! Last chance for the Southerners!!!

8. I'd gig an £800 bass I reckon, I'd only be worried if it was fragile like a hofner. In my house £1600, for a doublebass i'd pay £2k because I find them more fun to play, they're super classy too. Definately agree on the £1500 bass versus a £10,000, once your up there, your up there the difference is not as vast as £200 versus £1500. The most i've spent is £1250 for a fantastic Marleaux bass but at current i'd need to jump to £700-£800 to recognise a difference from my £60 P bass copy. Great feedback guys, I can't pitch in about cars I literally know nothing haha i'd be interested if I lived where My Name is Earl lives but I wouldn't throw a penny at Cardiff's roads!!!
9. I think my limit would be £1600 but it would only be for home enjoyment...I might even use it for home jam sessions but that would be it! I reckon after 4-8 years you'd get your moneys worth back and i'd relax like I do about laptops over £500 = 3 years use and i'm happy, its probably out of date by then too nowadays. I would definitely pay £1600 for a guitar because I tend to use them more playing in my bedroom whereas bass I like to practice with others. HOWEVER, with basses you tend to notice the quality difference between boutique and stock much more than in the geetar market I think. If I could pick any bass it would be this : http://www.frays-basscorner.com/instock/ne.../WT_ZoidVM.html OR this: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f8/official-...90/index30.html ...But I'm guessing their both like £3k
10. Just £190 then, cheaper than my first bass alone...

13. I converted after 6 years but I still have a lot of love for an EB3 or fretless jazz - I can't get on with rickenbackers because of small hands.
14.
Are you selling 3 of these?
Nope just thought them relevant in 3 different sections of the site
15. Black plate for maple necks!! Nah I wouldn't feel guilty about a P bass, one of those basses that'll last you life and can use for pretty much everything! I've tried all sorts and ended up with a precision despite my best efforts to resist. I failed to fight off Fender in general, as a kid I thought they looked boring and "everybodys got one"...then I realised why
16. 10 days and i'll be moving it up to Carlisle
