  1. Rare colour this, I've seen a precision version locally and it's really eye catching - been tempted
  2. I nearly bought this off Ebay from somewhere in Scotland - far far too heavy though for a lil guy like me, I stuck to my stratocasters
  3. I think by 'neck shaving' and 'refret' he means he changed the original neck to a 90's jazz as well...
  4. Skjold and Wood & Tronics 6'ers really catch my eye, I love!! If this had a darker facing i'd be switching back from guitar to bass, love the cutaway and the smooth wood work on the upper bout, beautiful - as is Naarrich
  5. Thanks Chris, I was playing for 6 years and this finally killed off my GAS and I started to concentrate on my playing
  6. Aww I want it
  7. Depends what it is, I don't notice much difference between a £100-£200 Precision bass and a £1200 one...The Marleaux I owned however...
  8. I really like it too but i'm not a fan of Mark King
  9. I've wanted one for a while but have never had the money to hand for one, saw one in marcus miller esque finish wandering around London one time but was in a hurry for the train. I love the Joe Walsh Carvin Signature too!!
  10. I've owned one courtesy of Happy Jack, fantastic basses - mine was fretted though and more yellow.
  11. My favourite Fender anything finish
  12. £160 as an Xmas prezzie for a beginner??...A damn lucky one??
  13. I love Marleaux basses - really miss my fretless five . Welcome to the site!!!
  14. Thanks Loz, I've put it at a clearance price so I can fit my new guitar amp in my room - it's all pristine and ready to go but I may as well keep it than drop the price further.
  15. The Wood and Tronics VM Signature (Now discontinued but my my... )
  16. Check out the surf green 57 strat in the 'other musically related section' haha . I've never got on with stingrays, the pickup wasn't a comfortable anchor when i needed and i've always had problems with fretbuzz on the neck (i've only tried 4). I prefer the tone of a P bass but i'm not a confident player so the stinger makes me feel too exposed!! There's no doubt that the soft pastille colour guitars and basses are a serious contender to sunbursts but fancy wood facings can top them both if tasteful.
