  1. In - Just the sight of the Chicken Head switch knob and Engraved Numbers on the Scratch Plate was worth a tenner! Basschat / Mandalorian - That is the way...
  2. Wet Cheese Delirium from the album Camembert Electrique, (does that rate like a double word score?..) Gong
  3. Nice... I seem to remember last time you posted about a T'bird it cost me money... Thanks for that! 😀 Not this time i'm afraid... GLWS

  5. Loves an SR... Where abouts are you bassed(!)?
  6. One in my Squier P and a PJ Pair in a jazz bitsa... hovering above a Tonerider?
  7. Sweet... +1 on the mental health... just picking that up to help calm the storm. Take it Steady-Eddie...
  8. Just the resistor is simple and pence, but would work out £10 postage for the round trip... That would be best put towards a cheap soldering iron!
  9. What next... ELF Christmas Slippers?
  10. Son has Roto Tru Bass 65-115 on a G4M Fretless Acoustic... 'sposedly nearest you can get to a DB sound... Not Cheap Mind, £40... luckily the Bass came already strung with them! (EUB 34"? Wouldn't know if they fit a real upright.)
  11. Adagio also do 45-100 flats, standard tension in Nickel... Olympia Strings (The Harley B Flats are re-bagged Olympia's, check out the packaging and save the £10 postage!) in Stainless Steel, handy(!) if you have a nickle allergy. Give Adagio as a try at £18 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/332636490116 👍Colin and Amy @ AdvMusic / Olympia Strings. Almost everything Guitar or Bass, Electric or Acoustic in the house.. 20ish! is strung with Flats or Wounds from Adagio or Olympia What Bass? Check your Bridge to Peg length... run a little close on my T'Bird at 37.5" Ideally 38" Min.
  12. Do the simple Resistor Mid Mod on the back of the board... and why does it need to be just in case? Bit of rattle can, and no one would know...
  13. Welcome... Remember to make a NBD (New Bass Day) post with pics Enjoy

  19. Loves a bit of Alice, Seen twice at Wembly Arena... Constrictor and Trash Tours Certainly a Show
  20. I'd go New Pot... some times a bump on the knob (!) Can cause the pot internals to loosen. If ya like the sound and volume action go like for like. A Log, B Lin taper, 250k?
  21. Bright Eyes - Arty Funkle...
  22. Strawberry Angel Delight!... Bit Salty at 8
  23. Yeah still sparks and bites, even wearing flats... specially when played with a pick towards the bridge, and likely due to being more mid-ship P placement, than on the end of the fretboard, and wired via the A500k straight to the jack - like @Krispin mentioned in his post. I have a Artec 5 position Passive Tone Control Tone-Styler-A-Like, great for £15, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403241742777 but didn't think i'd want to take the any darker... just play nearer the neck.
  24. The British Sound was too pink, so got a rub-down to bare ally, then old school sticky letters... And a BeadyEye got the leftovers of a Black rattle can treatment...
