    For potentiometers, Possibly as it is single Volume... 100k might be like a 250k Vol with a 250k Tone in parallel. Higher the value, the more treble, 100k to darken things down... Usual for 'buckers to have 500k, but usual for a tone control. Maybe try A250k to start and see if what you can EQ... For the the other type, i'd go quality of quantity... or a large quantity of quality... 😉

    As long as the tendons are are OK, you will have a finger 'pad' maybe not the 'tip' you had... Hope you mend well, maybe get on some Anti-Bionics to stem off any infection.

    What is the scale length, and what are the bass strings tuned to ? Might have some odds or old sets, sure other BC members might have as well... Same goes for the skinny strings - tuned to? Welcome!

    Local Shop?.. I'd be dropping back and letting them show you... I've never had a Wheel Truss Rod Adjust, but the idea and leverage would suggest a nice and easy feel adjust...warranty and all that.

    Std Split P type yep 95% yep.. and how it should be;-) might need a touch of sand paper... Just not a Square Heeled '50 P body.
