  1. Snorting Whisky (Drinking Cocaine) - Pat Travers
  2. Nice, That is shouting 'Westone' to me... Nice Blue 'n Maple, P-esq and not another P-alike...
  3. Hi... Any Studio, Recording, Mixing, Rehearsal Room etc. Types? If you are, I'm after a favour... My Son (17) is after a week from 7th July 2025, work experience... Preferably something Music related, to compliment his A Level Music Tech course... Dabbles in a bit of Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keyboards... Sensible Fella, but makes a lousy cup of tea. Any band going on tour want to take him with you? Ha!.. Seriously, Anyone with Anything Kent SE or Central London - we are in Orpington. Thanks in Advance...
  4. Senni's HD206 Over Ear... 3m lead to amp. £16 - Bargain! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/135213053030
  5. Framed - SAHB
  6. Loves an SR... feeling a little Tequila Sunrise...
  7. Lovely stack... looks class with a authoritive 'my space' for the bass player and 15's to get some air moving...
  8. Hi @Project_gemini Are you after a 6 Banger? Bargain Ibanez SR306 in the For Sale section. Not my Add, although my Son has one and loves it, all about the neck!
  9. Nice bit of wood. I'd go natural oil and wax finish. Cheap(er) Easy(er), Great Results (betterer)...
  10. Don't stand so CLOSE to me - The Police
  11. Possibly the biggest Bargain in the FS section at the mo...
  12. Good luck and most of all enjoy putting it together... My first, a P Bitsa with a J Nut Neck
  13. Isopropyl Alcohol, try and get 90 proof... esp for maple, 70 proof is ok and has mineral oil, ala lemon oil. Alcohol First Aid Wipes, lighter fluid, like naptha highly refined... I'd try a spot some where, just in case of nitro, may move the lacquer like acetone.
  14. Tell us a bit more about the neck... Looks good, fret ends etc. Fretboard edge looks lightly rolled. Remember to drill nice pilot holes - size and depth - for the machine head mounting screws, with a scrape of candle wax or block soap on the threads lto lube, and use a good fitting screw driver.
  15. Hat 'n Cravat...
  16. Nice in Natural...
  17. Basschat = Yellow Pages... Not just here for the nice things in life... Nice ya sorted... now, a pic of the bass and or offending item
  18. Mate has been messin with my SWR Notworking but Nowworking, Workingman's 12... The IP Jacks, Active and Passive were Lots-of-Pins sealed units, Stereo but something failing on the switching... IP always Grounded... No Tuner Out, No FX R or the FX SR Link... Replaced with Panel Mount and wires to the board - Sorted. #NeverUnderEstimateTheDodgeSocket....
  19. Maida Vale pickups via Faceache... Check for a broken wire... do you get any Ohmage reading or is it OC?
  20. I'd start with (another) brand new battery, and a look-see at the Stereo Jack that prolly uses the Ring Connection on the Batt Ground to Sleeve Connection, Signal Ground to complete the circuit.
  21. Where do you play, how long do you play, and how far from a socket?.. I'd be thinking along the Power Bank USB to 9v type set up with a Joyo ZGPW or Rechargeable unit esp if USB Powered - tge Zoom B1on can be 5v USB powered - USB is gonna be a 'norm' Or do your new pedals need 18 or 12v power?
  22. Thats Sad... Sad for Adam, Sad for those looking to support him and his music.
  23. Tapping?... On a Ripper?... Mind they don't start that Slapping Thumb Whack 'n Waggling nonsense!.. Only started one some one dropped a pick...
  24. To a jaunt to Rockbottom in Croydon with my Son a Saturday Haunt of mine, and took ages by bus, all around the houses. Son had a go on a 12 string guitar as they were not busy. We came out with a £20 Pitch-Theremin-Thing... pucker noises to channel ya Jimmy Page or Hawkwind-esq Screams and Waveries...
