Good point sponge bob . Reminds me a bit like buying live DVDs / VHS etc . I bought a Metallica gig on iTunes at Xmas time . It'll always be there , and won't take up any space in my flat. The only thing that annoys me about downloading, is that eventually we re gonna be fleeced to buy more gb of data etc.

Interesting topic. I have toneport ux1. ( USB audio interface ). I find the presets really good . There are loads . Not so many bass ones . I used to have a behringet v amp pro . Awful instructions, and pretty poor IMHO . I find that rather than use line 6 pods, you're probably better getting a decent amp and of you require effects , then buy them seperately. That way, the sound you're getting from your favourite amp is pure

I'm with nancy on this . Love the way he said it I'll probably subscribe on payday. There are a few bands, which I find patchy( air, royksopp. Etc.) this way I can avoid the crappy stuff. I hope that you can download stuff at home, and not have to rely on broadband all the time tho'

Also, some rare stuff is on there apparently . Is it true, that you don't need an internet connection all the time? ( commuting etc.) I hope you can download stuff at home, and keep it until subscription expires.

Salica gel always found in new instrument cases. I would say , depending on how long they've been up there, put them in heavy padded gig bags if you have any - with the Salica gel for a few days. Do not eat !

Used to have a stiletto elite 5 ( diamond series). Loved it . Sold it as , times were hard, and I was still gigging and never had enough time to master it as my main bass. Lovely bling basses;) very common in usa, not so much over here. Light, lovely and a great low action .

Why not go for a schecter diamond series instead ? Used to have a 5 string, gold hardware in cherry/ black.( can also get them in amber). A bit cheaper , and certainly good for metal !

I have snow leopard, Mac mini (2007 ), and logic express( which I don't really use). Time has obviously moved on , but with my versions, you have to have the serial nos. from the. Install discs etc. or better still, the original discs that were purchased , However , it sounds like the op has purchased his off the App Store as a download. If that is the case, then surely , like buying an album /film/ ringtone , this has already been paid for, and there should be no problem Downloading again. Hopefully the version of logic is compatible with the laptop;)
