    They are on nearly all my basses, a slightly warmer sound compared with the other labellas I’d say ,which suits what I play , they match very well with precisions for that Motown kinda sound, but they certainly don’t lack any brightness if you want to eq them up , look forward to seeing what you think

    I used to regularly stop off in DV247 Romford and pmt when I was over that area, DV were really good they would let you play any bass and just leave you to it, I’m not sure if it’s still there, in pmt the sales assistant would stay with you and try to sell you something which I didn’t like, I don’t go in there anymore

    Great one, I can’t be sure but I think mr Boss man was one of the first tunes I heard by Linval Thompson, would have been around 1980 ish , probably on Rodigan or Tony Williams reggae show

    I don’t know much about the technical side of things but if the wires are still attached and it’s just the plate that’s come off wouldn’t the speaker still work?, I think in this situation I would just pay for return postage and sort it out my end

    Quite a chunky bridge that I don’t recognise and large pole pieces on the pickups, I’d be interested to know what it is too , is that 24 frets
