  1. Nice one, I’m familiar with the theme to Kojak because I watched some of the episodes lately, there’s some really funky tunes in that show
  2. a few more that usually don’t end well * Should I learn theory * fretwraps * are fenders worth it
  3. Imo there’s always something to practise if you want to improve, even if you are at a high level, I work on technique, scales, arpeggios, intervals, ghost notes etc, the list is endless really
  4. Hi and welcome CMW, very cool bass
  5. It’s pronounced Flanja round ere 😁
  6. This one is not far from where I work sometimes so I had a bid, but it looks like someone wants it more, quite like the colour https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/335692496479?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=saz8gig9ssu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=1wDkd4CjTIi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

  8. Look forward to seeing that, I haven’t changed mine yet, I managed to fit a set of Rotosound flats on mine and it sounds pretty cool

    Hi!

    Welcome Si
  13. Not sure if it’s the same but when I bought my new custom Sandberg I didn’t pay any taxes, and they covered postage
  14. Same here, it’s not what I would normally be listening to but looking into Sean more closely I’ve ended up liking some of JM’s music
  15. I played a 5 for about a year to see what it was all about and still do very occasionally if a certain Bassline has any lower notes ,but that’s rare, so 2 reasons for me, I can do everything I want on a 4 and I play vintage basses which only have 4
  16. Another great groove here from Sean, you can skip to 6.38 for the Bassline
  17. Nice one ez, thank you, I think you’re right as the headstock looks the same, quite a cool bass
  18. Great video here of Third World and dancing on the floor, a classic track that I remember well, pretty sure it’s Richard Daley on bass But I don’t recall seeing that bass , any idea what it is, looks like it’s got 2 precision pickups
  19. I’m sure between us we will be able to help
  20. I’ve come across quite a few old ones while looking for vintage precions and jazzes on google, it’s an eye opener when you see the prices then and now
  21. As I understand it, Going backwards B neck width 8 - year 01 - month so January 16 is the batch or lot number 5 - precision Forgot to mention it’s a beauty bassbiscuits
  22. Nice one, I missed this ,really like them and don is a great guy, how did it go
  23. Hi Si, I don’t know much about squier but I had my nephews P bass neck in my workshop which wouldn’t adjust and out of curiosity I took the fingerboard off, like stub said maybe try and get the nut out, I’d say it might be a bit tricky, here’s a few pics that might be of use so you can see what it’s like if yours is similar
  24. We haven’t had any sugar minott for long time , this is definitely in my top 5 by him, sweet tune and this from around 1980
  25. Not sure I’d drop that money on it but that’s pretty cool
