  1. Currently learning this, great bassline
  2. There’s quite a few vintage washboards on eBay but I don’t really know anything about what they are
  3. Nice one, well done it looks great
  4. I saw that last night, I believe there are a few matching headstock precisions in existence but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one up close, first glance it looks like a refinish to me
  5. Scary stuff really isn’t it , we’re talking about a lot of money here these days, it’s why I tend to stick mainly with reputable sellers
  6. Yeah t he early 60s ones were pencil but later they were ink stamped
  7. Thanks for showing this Brian
  8. Wow someone has gone through a lot of work to do that, it’s not an exercise it’s a good attempt at faking, it could easily fool someone, not good in my opinion, makes me question how many others are out there
  9. As far as I know this would be one of the original versions before it was remixed in around 91 I think, it’s a lot slower and you can hear the basssline , it’s on the album Songs Of Freedom Rarities , is this the one you heard myke?
  10. I thought the slab boards were only an early 60s thing, up to about 62 ?
  11. I tend to dip in and out of Alborosie tunes , I used to play a lot of his basslines, I’m liking this and we all recognise the bassline
  12. Hi Brian a couple of things I noticed and I could be wrong 😁 , block inlays were introduced in mid 66, looks like a 67/68 but the tuners have the small R which are early 70s ( my 71 doesn’t have it on the tuners) , pickguard looks like a reissue one at first glance , neck is very clean for the year, nice jazz
  13. Can’t be sure but it looks like a refinish to me, and unless I’ve missed it there isn’t a description , is there
  14. Isn’t it the same one that’s for sale on here
  15. Cheers I’ll check that out, I’ve found it on Spotify
  16. Thanks for that, I did come across them once but I can’t remember when, and I couldn’t find anything about them really, this might have been the track I heard
  17. What a great tune, that bassline
  18. Definitely one of the best amps I’ve got, whoever buys this will not be disappointed
  19. New one from Don Chandler, great video as always
  20. Definitely tegs, it’s not a great taste to be honest and not really one to drink without a mixer, captain Morgan with a dash of blackcurrant was nicer for me
  21. I used to dabble with this one, it certainly packs a punch
  22. Good question, I never played well if I was drinking, but a friend of mine plays really good after a drink, I think it relaxes him, it’s no 🥃 for me but lots of reggae
  23. Some Delroy Wilson this morning
  24. Cheers, I don’t know that much about him really, really good discovering some new tunes
