  1. They are a great band, the drummer is so good
  2. Ah cool thanks, I just remember quite a while back Maybe a year or so seeing her play one , cheers
  3. I don’t know that much about Laura Lee but I have watched quite a few videos as I like her basslines and style, In one of the interviews she was playing a stack knob custom jazz and not her SX
  4. Very nice indeed, congrats, they really are a fantastic jazz and the necks are superb, I wouldn’t be without mine
  5. I know some don’t like reggae covers and I don’t like them all myself, but I quite like a few eagles songs and I’ve never heard this Particular reggae version before, I think Carlton sharpe has a great voice on this and a good band
  6. Same as above really, just to say I wish you all the best lee
  7. I enquired about that too , it looks really good , I do like a stack knob jazz and a great colour, congrats
  8. I had the fender classic 70s jazz bass that had Pau ferro fingerboard, I can’t say it felt much different to my other jazzes really, apart from being maybe smoother and lighter in colour
  9. Nice one, well done and a great jazz
  10. Love that 64, very nice
  11. Hard to say exactly but I’ve worked with a lot of teak and it does look like it to me, it’s got quite a distinctive smell when it’s machined or cut, it’s a nice wood
  12. Looks much better with the black guard imo, nice
  13. It’s a linval Thompson day today for me
  14. I’ve seen the pictures of this on the auction site, it’s an interesting one that someone has used for a project, I do think the body and neck is original but the dot markers are strange , could it be a walnut finish and not mocha?, the extra hole in the pickguard would worry me as that could suggest extra routing under the guard for maybe active electrics, I’d ask for some pics, and one of the neck stamp if possible, with a decent bridge it might be ok but hard to tell without seeing it up close and playing it, good luck
  15. I find short replies like this sometimes put me off buying from people, if they don’t know anything about the bass then they only have to say so, I understand they might have had some timewasters but we’re talking about parting with nearly £3,500 in cash
  16. Great answer 😂
  17. Yeah I saw that too Mickey , made me wonder why too, just thought if someone was close it might be worth a look, that’s if it’s still there
  18. Try this https://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/1967-fender-precision-bass/1497408033??utm_source=mail&utm_campaign=socialbuttons&utm_content=app_ios&utm_medium=Social
  19. £3,495 Rob, which is a low price , I’ve bought some early jazzes and precision’s from gumtree before, you just have to go and check them out properly
  20. There’s a 67/68 precision listed on gumtree which might be worth a look if you’re in the what looks like Bournemouth area
  21. Enjoying this, don chandler on bass, it’s next on my to play list
  22. Yeah you’re right Bb , twice before and this is the third, I can’t exactly remember but wasn’t it 5k the first time
