1. Can't recommend these enough - they do everything a Precision can + the growl of the Jazz p/u when needed - one of the few that I really miss - type bump!!
2. May consider a lot cheaper amp in p/x - just in case - type bump !!
3. Lovely Bass - at a sensible price - type bump!
4. Hi Skez, The 250 has gone, but I still have the Littlemark III 500w jobbie which is brand spanking new apart from being taken out of the box & tried at home! Can't really justify hanging on to it though - especially as I found out yesterday that it looks as the band I dep. with once in a blue moon may be 'no more' !!
5. Here is my wonderful Jack Bass, from the 80's? in very good condition & everything works! Through maple neck, maple wings, Select EMG Pickups, active/passive switch with LED indicator controls are volume, volume + stacked Bass/Treble when in active mode. Double octave neck etc, etc. Plays really nicely, great range of tones, very light - a smidge under 8lbs (on my very unreliable analogue bathroom scales) & as you are probably aware - seems to stay in tune forever due to the Steinberger licensed tuning system, plus balances really well, with no 'neck dive' due having no headstock. Built like the preverbial tank & will likely be the third thing left after the next ice age or Holocaust along with cockroaches & Boss bedals! In really nice condition with a very few 3 or 4 small marks, which I'm sure would polish out. If you wish to have a good try out - I'm still 5 minutes away from Junction 15, where it starts to get a bit 'cobbly'!! Looking for £225 + postage if necessary please chaps
6. Hi, I had one of these a year or so ago & couldn't get a warm enough old fashioned sound out of it to suit my 'very' old fashioned cloth ears - sorry.
7. May consider a combo in p/x depending on value - type bump??
8. Hi Guys, usual sob story - next 'booked' gig is October & therefore as much as I'd like to, I cant really justify keeping this !! Markbass Littlemark III 500w Head - which is brand spanking new, apart from me taking it out of the box, fully testing it at home & has never been gigged. You all know this is the latest MB Littlemark, with pre/post EQ send + signal volume control - the mods that everyone wanted on the original. All the warmth EQ control & power you will probably ever need. Complete with the original box, warranty card & Owners Manual. The lowest on line prices for these new looks like they average around £550, so a firm £395 collected or £420 delivered within the UK mainland?? Voted best all round amp in a recent poll - apparently?? If anyone wants to give the Mark III a good try out before parting with their hard earned - please give me a shout - I'm 'still' 5 minutes from J15 of the M6, where it starts to get a bit 'cobbly'!!
9. Great Guy, great service - thanks Howard, you are a Gentleman. Thanks again, Tim
10. Hi Guys, Did they ever make a fretless versiion?? Thanks
11. Hi Guys, anyone ever de - fretted one?
12. On hold for a 'Great Guy' - who I'm sure will love it as much as I do!! ps - boo hoo!!
13. Hi, yes it looks like it could be a Maplins case & funnily enough (although I've never tried a WT550 - did that have twin power amps, or is that just the WT800 etc)?? - but this was my most fav. amp of all time too & then some - that David Eden fella has a lot to answer for - umph!!
14. Hi, I don't know what make it is - but I think it's one of those aluminium / plastic camera type cases & it does a blinking fab job, plus it is very light. cheers, Tim
15. Thanks Skez, you are a Gent. In regard to selling the Eden & keeping the LM250 - if I was gigging as much as I used to, then it would be no contest as the Eden is far superior in every way! However, it seems a waste of a such a cracking amp if I'm only gigging a handful of times a year & so I'm hoping I can 'get away with' using the LM + maybe loaning a slave to drive the Bill Fitzmaurice in the unlikely event of a bigger Gig & then the Eden can go to someone who will hopefully use it more often Thanks again for your interest Guys.
16. Thank you and + 1 to that, I know I'll regret letting this go - but it should put an end to my GAS - as I think I've tried everything now - at least twice over & this is definately 'The Daddy' of them all - 'in my humble opinion' of course!
17. http://www.eden-elec...featuretext.htm Hi Guys, As pointed out by the current kitchen viper - don't you just love it when they are right?? - as my one & only Gig this year was last Saturday night, at a venue scarily not unlike The Jockey from Shameless! & my next Gig is in October! - can I justify holding on to the the best amp I've used during the last 40 years - by a Country mile, for just home noodling? It's in fantastic condition with just a few tiny 'gigging' marks, works absolutely perfectly & lives in an aluminium type flightcase. This is loud & I mean 'LOUD' as the 400w into 4 ohms must be rated at the old wattage - before it must have changed - when I wasn't looking?? By far the best Semi - Parametric EQ I've ever used & the tone quality is 'to die or' - honest injun! I believe these are quite rare now - especially in this condition? I'm 5 minutes from J15 of the M6 - or I may be in Cumbria for a few days next week. Would prefer that the buyer collected - so that they could give it a good try out before parting with their 'hard earned' - but having said that - it's in great condition & sounds 'fab' £395 collected - or buyer to pay postage if necessary - may take a less expensive amp in p/x or trades WHY??
18. Hi, is the fretless neck 'lined' & could you send me some more detailed pics please to [email protected] The site would not let me send you a PM cheers, Tim
