Measures only 8" x 7.75" x 1.5" & weighs a mere 2ibs!! How the ruddy heck do they do it?? Fits into a Gig Bag & can literally be picked up with your little finger - honest injun. Complete with original box, owners manual & mains lead In excellent condition, complete with the original box - £165.00 - lots of bang, for very little Bucks!!
2. Bill is a great Guy to deal with & this AER gear is from another planet!! Buy it now - before I sell my bass - or then 'I' will - type bump!!
3.
- popped in for a brew at Tim's and had a play. Superb fast neck between a J and P and mega tonal range - yum. Top bloke to deal with. Buy it now!
Thanks Bill, It was great to see you & Charlie again! Just hope that if you ever decide to part with that CS Jazz - it coincides with my lottery numbers coming good! 'How does the Custom Shop do it'?? I would have bet my house on it being an original - until I saw the CS logo on the reverse of the head - wow!! All the best, Tim
4. Sorry, I've just re - done the photo's as the first set were even worse than these - if that's possible! - yes it's still for sale.
5. By a quirk of nature - namely 'GAS' - back up for sale !!
6. Hi Steve, Hope the Tour went well? - if memory serves - I'm very old remember? - I bought it brand spanking new in the first half of this year & if memory serves - yet again - it was only manufactured during the second half of last year? It was a real wrench to let it go, but as my one & only Gig this year was at the end of February & with no others in the offing - yep I'm 'that' bad a player - I couldn't justify having so much power just for home use. I can remember taking it out of the unopened box, plugging it in & thinking 'wow' this is a lot quieter - (when just switched on 'running' - not I hasten to add in the volume stakes, as it was as loud as heck)- than any of my previous umpteen Markbass amps I've owned and thought they must have refined the MK111 to the 'Nth' degree & if I by some miracle. I ever did start to play regularly again - the MK111 would be my number one choice of amp - bar none! Whoever buys this will be cock - a - hoop, as they will be getting virtually brand new amp, which has had very little if any use, at a fraction of the list, or even on line price. Good luck with the sale Steve, but I don't think you'll need it - 'roll up, roll up'!! All the best, Tim Whoever the lucky Sod is who buys this from Steve will be cock - a - hoop, that they have a virtually brand new amp, at a fraction of the new list price
7. Bump for a great Guy & a great amp !!
8. Yes, the very one I think? - Prose Karuna, Headless & single Cut - (which I struggle with a bit to be honest, having never played one before)! - but the monsterous sound + the lack of weight is to die for!! - can you remember if the 'just a nut' was adjustable on this, as I've not had time to set it up to my liking yet - 'cause I can't stop playing the ruddy thing !!
9. I've finally managed to obtain the Paul Rose Headless I've been chasing for months & have to say that it is a revelation!! - Light, fantastic build quality & sounds wonderful - type bump!! Can't see anyone being disappointed if they buy this beauty - if only I wasn't skint & needed lines to 'almost' stay in tune on a fretless - umph!! Good luck with the sale - but I don't think you'll need it at that price!! - Custom build quality & components at a bargain basement price - dip yer bread Guys it's a 'no brainer'!!
10. Mark is a great Guy, just done a really easy pleasant deal & would recommend him to anyone! Thanks again Mark All the best Tim
11. Droooooooooooool - only a Rosewood, or Ebony fingerboard away from my dream bass - drat !! Lovely, lovely bass matey, I was going to say 'good luck' with the sale - but I really don't think you'll need it!!
12. Bought Ryans Palmer Y Splitter & despite the best efforts of the courier to foil our deal - Ryan thwarted them & ensured it arrived safely. Great Guy, deal with absolute confidence Chaps! Thanks again Ryan Tim
13. In my very humble opinion she was fab - u - lous darling! I'm not a very good player - by any stretch of the imagination, but understand that stuff aint easy to do at all, let alone to do 'that' well. I'm sure that regardless of your favourite genre of music, you would have to sit back & appreciate the Lady has talent in abundance & nailed both the vocal & the Bass part? And don't get me started on how good Her band were?? As the man said - 'it ain't what you put in, it's what you leave out'!!
14. Great amps these - can't recommend enoiugh & wish I'd kept mine! Almost as loud at 4ohms as the 500w at 8ohms! In my very humble opinion - if you need more power than these beauties belt out - you should have P.A. support!! Good luck with the sale Ivan
15. Just hope you don't need to return anything!!
16. I can only comment from my own personal experience with Thomman & needless to say I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole!! They do use Parcelfarce, it did cost me over £15 to return the item, plus I'm still not in receipt of the funds?? As the saying goes - 'Buyer Beware'!!
17. Sounds about right to me - dosh 'still' not in my Paypal account & if I was asked my opinion on Thomann - I would have to say 'avoid like the plague' as I was told it was only free to return items if you lived in Germany - vor sprung!!
18. Finally received an email today to say that Thomman are refunding my payment - less £15+ for the cost of returning it - over a week after they had safely received the item?? Their 'excuse' was that there had been a one day National holiday during that week - so even allowing for that, it still took a full week for them to return the dosh - which by the way 'still' not in my Paypal account??!! Just thought I'd give fellow BC'ers the heads up that if you do need to return an item to Thomman - be prepared to wait for your dosh!! ps - it is Parcelfarce they use
19. Bump for a lovely Bass - that is far too good for my ability, or probably that should be my 'lack' of ability !!
20. 'Still' miss mine & the growl from that Jazz p/u!! Have a bump for one of the most versatile basses ever & then some!!
21. Great build quality on these - even better than some of the USA ones I've tried - which had sharp fret ends?? & wish you were nearer so I could try it - type bump!

Deal with confidence Guys, Paul is a Great Guy & is a pleasure to deal with! Thanks again Paul All the best, Tim
23. I've just returned my HB combo to Thomann & am now waiting for a refund - less the cost of returning it. At first it seemed to be the answer to my prayers - small, light, loud - plus the fact that an extension speaker could be added for gigging & the head could be removed to use as a stand alone head to drive two bigger cabs seemed like eutopia - where ever that is? However, I noticed that when the mains lead was attached - the socket assemply didn't seem too sturdy, which is the main reason for returning it as I thought that if using it to gig with - regular plugging & unplugging would only make the unsteadiness of it worse! To be honest - for the money it is outstanding & the EQ section is quite good - however I did have to have 'everything' switched on & apply the dreaded 'smiley' to the graphic to get a sound I really liked, as the flat sound was very, very 'middley' - probably in the main due to the limited space to move air?? If you are thinking of buying one - then please don't let this put you off, as at this price point - I'm sure nothing comes close to giving you as much bang for your bucks + if it's not to your liking - it only costs arond £15 to return it to Thomman!! ps - I had none of the cutting out problems with mine by the way, but then again, it's so loud I didn't need the volume up very high for it to be heard easily.
24. Wow, absolutely stunning, pity I'm way to stupid to play a 5 string - type bump
