1. Great Guy, great cab & a very easy, pleasant, hassle free deal - thankyou Andy, you are a Star !!
2. PM replied to - just looking at your gear........................drool !!!
3. Just been told that because this is a Korean built model before they moved production to China - the build quality is superior??
4. Hello fellow BC'ers, Selling my Hi - tech Palmer Y splitter, which enables the user to use two amps at the same time without any of the usual associated hum & noise when trying to Bi -amp! When I think back over the past 40 + years, the very best bass sounds I ever achieved were always when using two amps & cabs to seperate the frequencies to give a 'full range' sound. It can also be used as a line driver for looooong leads. RRP for the newly fashioned one, which I don't think looks as cool, or robust as this original design one is £105, so how's about £50.00 + a fiver for postage? Thanks for looking Guys
5. Hi Chaps & Chapesses, Due to Band implosion - this really neat piece of kit is waiting for you to get Funky with it! Just as good as my original EH Dr. Q envelope follower I had in the 70's & took to the animal charity thinking I'd never use it again a few years ago !! In excellent condition complete with the original box & destructions How about £30 + a fiver postage? Thanks for looking Guys
6. Can't really do justice as to just how good these cabs are but here goes:- They started life as a Yamaha 4ohm Eminence speaker loaded cabs - but were just a tad too heavy for my old bones. So I replaced them with Celestion Neo 200w 8ohm speakers & so they now only weigh 11 - ish Kg each!! Thunderous lows, smooth mids & clear highs (or so I'm told by people with far better ears than my old cloth ones) - courtesy of the high quality bullit horns - with actuator & 'proper job' crossovers. Whilst changing the speakers - I had a good look inside & couldn't believe the build quality & finish to a part of the cab most people will never see! I have also added another jack socket to the back of one of the cabs - in parallel so they can be linked to run at 4ohms together I rehearsed with a seven piece band with keys, brass section & a very loud drummer using just 'one' of these cabs & was asked if I wouldn't mind turning down a tad!! Looking for £350 for a pair of high quality, lightweight cabs which sound blinking fab - or would consider a swap for a lightweight neo loaded 2 x 10, or 2 x 12 - 8ohm cab, or WHY?? The rat fur on one of the cabs is in slightly better nick than the other one - but over all they are both in really good condition Thanks for looking Guys
7. Tokai Thunderbird Bass in sunbusrt - allegedly far superior build quality the the Epi's + has a set neck instead of a bolt on like the Epi and as far as I can remember - at least as good as the Gibbo one I had a play of at Rushworth & Drapers(?) in Liverpool back in the days of Yore!! In excellent condition having just one very small ding on the rear bottom edge of the body, which cannot be seen from the front, Thunderous bass tones & really nice uncomplicated Vol, Vol. Tone controls New owner may want to change the strings as I belong to the 'leave 'em 'til they break' school of fatwiring - sorry! Comes complete with very newish Flight Case - Made in England, to maintain it's exceptional condition. Looking for £200 ono + delivery, if that's not too much?? or may be interested in a trade WHY?? Thanks for your interest Guys

16. Thankyou, I would never have thought of that!
With those round ports, you can roll up some card and make them telescopic and tune them by ear.
17. Thankyou for your response - it is appreciated It's the BN200x - yes I have two ports which are currently 2" in diameter & so I wondered if they needed enlarging to match the uprated speaker??
Hello dognofski, Which Celestion Neo is it? The BN200x or the BN220S? You already have 2 ports built in? Balcro.
18. Hi Guys, Being a retired old Fossil -(get the violins out), unfortunately I can't afford one of those wonderful small, lightweight cabs such as a Barefaced or Whizzy etc, etc - so I'm using a 'converted' Ashdown combo cab which has internal dimensions of 15" x 15" x 8" - deep. I've fitted a Celestion Neo Green Label 200w Neo 1 x 10" 8ohm speaker. Does anyone know what diameter the two front ports should be to give optimum efficiency & bottom end?? All donations of advice gladly received - thanks??
