1. Hi Guys, Being a retired old Fossil -(get the violins out), unfortunately I can't afford one of those wonderful small, lightweight cabs such as a Barefaced or Whizzy etc, etc - so I'm using a 'converted' Ashdown combo cab which has internal dimensions of 15" x 15" x 8" - deep. I've fitted a Celestion Neo Green Label 200w Neo 1 x 10" 8ohm speaker. Does anyone know what diameter the two front ports should be to give optimum efficiency & bottom end?? All donations of advice gladly received - thanks??

3. Or maybe even a Squier Classic Vibe P bass - the red one, or WHY??
4. may accept a lined fretless, something like a Fender/Squier lined fretless in p/x??
5. Hi, I did the exact same thing & missed it so much I bought it back, but now need a lined fretless for another project & unfortunately I won't be able to afford to keep 'both' - I'm in sunny Stoke on Trent, 5 minutes from Junction 15 of the M6 and Trentham Gardens Thank you for your interest
6. This is now gone - thank you to everyone who showed an interest, I think I'll have to give up playing now - good news for everyone's ears - as I'm pretty sure I won't find a Bass with a lower 'playable' action at any price - umph!!
7. Thanks Guys, over the 'too many' years I've owned lots of Basses worth three times the price of this, that were nowhere near as 'playable'!!
8. Thanks Guys, last year I asked a few Luthiers for a quote for a headless, lightweight, active bass with a thru neck - the cheapest quote was around £1600!!!
9. Hohner Jack Bass in black here's the script which I'm sure you are aware of but here goes........ Thru Maple neck with Maple wings - Active/Passive operation - 2 x Steinberger Select Pickups - Steinberger Tuning System - controls are volume, volume, + stacked bass & treble tone pot for when in active mode - double octave fretboard. Weighs just under 8lbs on my bathroom scales & so a joy to wear - especially for us Fossils !! Perfect balance with no neckdive - new set of 35 - 95 Status Hotwires fitted. This little beauty is in used, but not abused condition - with the usual buckle rash & odd ding here & there - the worst one is the small one on the rear of the neck - which I can't feel when playing it.- but for a 1980's Bass is in great overall condition, with everything working - even the LED comes on when you are in active mode and even has a fully functioning - unbroken battery compartment lid! The action on this is sublime - having one of the lowest 'playable' of any Bass I've owned, or even played during the past 40 + years - yep - I'm 'that' old !! Looking for a firm £250 + postage & only for sale to fund something else - ruddy GAS - otherwise I'd probably hang on to it - being a 'go to' bass for any Gig - 'cause it sounds so blinking 'Fab'!! I'm still 5 minutes from Junction 15 of the M6 - unfortunately - if you want to call & have a blast, give me a shout - ta. 10. Hi James, That's a beautiful looking instrument, but being such a rubbish player, I think I may struggle with it not being a lined fingerboard! Plus if memory serves I think the weight may be too much for my glass shoulder? But please PM with what deal you were thinking of & do you have anything else to trade? i.e. do you still have the Zoot? All the best, Tim
11. Would consider a cheaper bass, headless or fretless - (which may need to be lined as I'm rubbish)or both or WHY? or maybe an amp or small cab in p/x??
12. I think this used to be mine? - if so it was a fantastic Cab & It is highly recommended - especially at this bargain price - type bump!!
13. Hi Guys, Gallien Krueger MB200 up for grabs - I'm sure you all know what these little beauties are capable of - but just in case........ 200w into 4ohms, 140w into 8ohms - but sounds much louder - albeit to my old cloth ears! - 10db pad, four band active EQ section with contour, headphone/line out, XLR out - pre/post EQ, Speakon output. Measures only 8" x 7.75" x 1.5" & weighs a mere 2ibs!! How the ruddy heck do they do it?? Fits into a Gig Bag & can literally be picked up with your little finger - honest injun. Complete with original box, owners manual & mains lead In excellent condition, complete with the original box - £165.00 - lots of bang, for very little Bucks!!
14. Bill is a great Guy to deal with & this AER gear is from another planet!! Buy it now - before I sell my bass - or then 'I' will - type bump!!
15.
- popped in for a brew at Tim's and had a play. Superb fast neck between a J and P and mega tonal range - yum. Top bloke to deal with. Buy it now!
Thanks Bill, It was great to see you & Charlie again! Just hope that if you ever decide to part with that CS Jazz - it coincides with my lottery numbers coming good! 'How does the Custom Shop do it'?? I would have bet my house on it being an original - until I saw the CS logo on the reverse of the head - wow!! All the best, Tim
16. Sorry, I've just re - done the photo's as the first set were even worse than these - if that's possible! - yes it's still for sale.

19. Hi Steve, Hope the Tour went well? - if memory serves - I'm very old remember? - I bought it brand spanking new in the first half of this year & if memory serves - yet again - it was only manufactured during the second half of last year? It was a real wrench to let it go, but as my one & only Gig this year was at the end of February & with no others in the offing - yep I'm 'that' bad a player - I couldn't justify having so much power just for home use. I can remember taking it out of the unopened box, plugging it in & thinking 'wow' this is a lot quieter - (when just switched on 'running' - not I hasten to add in the volume stakes, as it was as loud as heck)- than any of my previous umpteen Markbass amps I've owned and thought they must have refined the MK111 to the 'Nth' degree & if I by some miracle. I ever did start to play regularly again - the MK111 would be my number one choice of amp - bar none! Whoever buys this will be cock - a - hoop, as they will be getting virtually brand new amp, which has had very little if any use, at a fraction of the list, or even on line price. Good luck with the sale Steve, but I don't think you'll need it - 'roll up, roll up'!! All the best, Tim Whoever the lucky Sod is who buys this from Steve will be cock - a - hoop, that they have a virtually brand new amp, at a fraction of the new list price
